At first I was like why is he showing how to disassemble sped up for.. but then wow you went into full detail especially the paints.. love love love this vid
Soooo good! Did a repaint similar to this using the same grim knight as a reference. Arms on these figures come off easy and then the harness comes right off.
Great figure , I love custom paints on figurines plus custom bases I brought a cheap jakks Pacific stormtrooper 18" and with a bit of paint and a little luck I was able to turn it into a remnant trooper and it looks amazing 👍
Ben just to let you know McFarlane plan to release artist proof DC Multiverse figures in the style of their Warhammer 40k figures, so basically grey scale figures that you can paint up 👍
I have the same fig and have started some paint work on it today. If I can post a pic here, I will. If not, I will search your Instagram and post there. Fantastic work on Batsy!
Not necessarily, just a good soapy water scrub to get the factory chemicals off the surface. After that you're fine to paint. Just seal it after your finished painting with a matt varnish spray
No, good point raised which i forgot to mention while filming after i finished painting i gave it another spray with the matt varnish to seal it. As i left the torso as is, the joints were never painted so no rub there.
Dude you cut up and opened over a $100.00 McFarland toy you know that right!?... smh its going for alot of money now 😒and I can't find it for retail price at all and I see you just open it and do this to it like wow... lol
You do realise i collect for ME right? Not to flip for money? The fig was £20 when i bought it at the time (upon its release). And im more than happy with what i did to it. . . . . And i would do it again! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for watching 🙏 let me know what other custom repaints you would like to see ⬇️⬇️
Wow that’s incredible! Would love that figure in my collection pure fire after the paint job 🔥
That's awesome man. Looks great 😁

awesome work! What are the two tools you're using to create bullet holes on the chest emblem?
Thanks mate, the first tool is an artist compass. And the second is a ball stylus dotting tool for sculpting

Yes mate!! 🙌 links to my socials are in the description, show me how you get on 👍 thanks man 🙏
Never though that The Grim Knight would use that Militar scarf or whatever is called.
Its my own version
@@ProjectPiperCustoms it's so cool!!! Kinda reminds me of one fan art were that Batman was using that militar scarf as a cape
Great video as always! This has been a big help! Also…. What’s the name of the song you used during the repainting segments? 🤣
Is primer necessary? I’m planning on painting my McFarlane deathstroke and I’ve never done it before

@@ProjectPiperCustoms ok thank you
no paint rub after repaint?

Why didn't you just remove the arms and slide the harness off after heating it? Seems to me that would've been easier.
Not really, popping one joint thats bigger and stronger is easier than popping 2 weaker joints
Ughkay lol
Context?
