Pardon me but AG Garland is not failing at his job. These Republicans are trying to hammer Biden so they attack the AG. Why can we not see through this charade??? Because these clowns full.well know that DOJ is a sprawling Federal Agency that is difficult for one man to run. That is why there is a Deputy AG, a number of Assistant AG's, and a number of Bureau Chiefs. So Garland can be free to take care of the politics part of the job, and these subordinates can assist running the agency. Sure the buck stops at his desk, but these agencies run this way. I stayed the same thing when they attacked the FBI Director. They have FBI field offices all over the Country, and in DC they have all kinds of Supervisors who run things. They keep the Director in the loop so they don't get embarrassed, but for the most part, they simply must delegate responsibilities, to subordinates to make the vital day to day decisions.

But being in a leadership position means you must also track everything your department heads do vs the outcomes of those actions, if you fail at maintaining that cohesion between your goals and the output of the department heads, then you have failed at your job. There is no leadership structure if the leader can't control their subordinates.

Famous one was when the asked Ben Carson if President Trump planned to strip billions of dollars from the HUD budget?? He was like, uh, uh let me get back to you on that. He had heard or was told that was going to happen, but wasn't given the exact amount supposedly. Doesnt mean he failed at his job, he just wasn't in the loop at that time.

My cousin worked in the medical field for over a decade until recently because of the mandate that her office placed for the vaccine.
