I agree a code of ethics needs to be implemented. Term limits on all people in government. Staff included. I also believe in no more lobbyists, no more special interest groups, no more bills passed without public notice, public vote, and public consent. No money goes anywhere without public consent.

Interesting mentioning a dubious historical justification for increasing the size of the court in this hearing on ethics, when historically the court has dealt with "ethics" within it's own branch, just as does the legislature.

McConnell refused to have a hearing to confirm Merrick Garland, because the Republicans HAD THE MAJORITY, and there was NO WAY in Hell the Republicans would confirm Merrick Garland as a Supreme Court Justice.
