He erected statues for Thiruvalluvar in marina beach and kattabomman statue at the place where he was hanged from his own money. அன்னை இல்லத்துக்கு 1960-ல் கிரகப்பிரவேசம் நடத்தப்பட்டது. வீட்டிற்கு புதுக்குடித்தனம் வந்தவுடன் குழந்தைகளுக்கு காதுகுத்தும் விழாவும் நடத்தப்பட்டது.
அப்போது வீட்டுக்குப் பின்புறம் ஒரு பெரிய கொட்டகை போடப்பட்டிருந்தது. விழா முடிந்து நான்கு நாட்கள் கழித்து சென்னையில் அடைமழை...!
அக்கம் பக்கத்தில் வசித்து வந்த குடிசைவாசிகள் அன்னை இல்லத்திற்கு வந்து நடிகர்திலகத்திடம் உதவி கேட்டனர். அவரும் அவர்களுக்கு அரிசி உதவி கொடுக்கச் சொன்னார்.ஆனால், அரிசியை வாங்கி எங்கே சமைத்து சாப்பிடுவது?
அதனால், போடப்பட்டிருந்த பெரிய கொட்டகையில், குடிசைவாசிகளுக்கு சமையல் செய்யச் சொன்னார் நடிகர்திலகம்.
முதல்நாள் 300 பேருக்கு என ஆரம்பித்து அடுத்தநாள் 1000 பேர்.... அப்புறம் 2000... பிறகு 10000 என்று கூட்டம்வர ஆரம்பித்தது. அதனால், சமையல் செய்து ஓட்டலில் இருந்து ஊழியர்களை வரவழைத்து சாதம் பொட்டலங்களாக கட்டினார்கள். முப்பது அடுப்புகள் வைத்து சாதம் தயார் ஆனது. அதற்கேற்ப உணவுப் பொட்டலங்களை விநியோகிக்க தயாரிப்பாளர்கள், விநியோகஸ்தர்களிடமிருந்து நூற்றுக்கணக்கான வண்டிகள் பணியாற்றின.
இந்தமாதிரி தொடர்ந்து 5 நாள் மழை பெய்தது. அந்த ஐந்து நாளும், மூன்று வேளைகளும் சாதம், பொட்டலங்களாக கட்டி போட்டார்கள்.
பெருந்தலைவர் காமராசரும், அன்றைய நிதி அமைச்சர் சி. சுப்பிரமணியமும் அப்போது சாப்பாடு தயாராகும் இடத்திற்கே வந்து, சாப்பாட்டை ருசிபார்த்து நடிகர்திலகத்தைப் பாராட்டி மகிழ்ந்தனர்.

Dr Sivaji ayya is a great human being, during his peak period he has donated huge amounts to government colleges and schools for upgrading library. He erected statues for Thiruvalluvar in marina beach and kattabomman statue at the place where he was hanged from his own money. Unlike others he won't give publicity when he donates some things to others. One of his co star V K Ramaswamy told about Shivaji Ayyas helping nature.

Nice to know that Rajesh Sir was able to have a good Rapport with both the legends MGR & Sivaji. His performances in Andha Ezhu NaatkaL, Achamillai Achamillai, Aalaya Deepam, MaNNukkuL Vairam, Sathyaa, Kaavalukku Kettikaaran and Mahaanadhi were noteworthy. He should have got many more good roles like Raghuvaran & Prakash Raj. But, it didn't happen. He has got a very good voice and a good physique. Even now, he can act in select good roles. This interview shows another dimension of Mr Rajesh and shows he is a voracious reader and a gentleman to the core. Very Nice to listen to his experience with various VIPs.
