@@TheJoker-pr5oh sucking isn't rebuilding most of the knicks former front offices traded away draft picks and were always in win now mode, until like two years ago did they finally have a front office that didnt trade draft picks and try to win now and instead rebuild.
Nets fan here, thanks for making this man! Love all your videos! It's really impressive how they've been able to recover from such a disaster, usually disastrous rebuilds like that can take a decade to recover from. But they did it in only 3-4 years.

That trade was a incredible disaster. They looked at guys who couldn't compete against a Knicks team that Indiana wiped out and said "yes let's go get those guys." Paul Pierce then left after one season and bashed the organization .
Everyone bags this trade but it's like what could they do. At the time it was considered a great trade and the team and organisation wanted to win so what could they do. They made a trade to win now and it didn't quite get there. But they couldn't really not do those trades. It's turned out pretty ok now cause they will make the playoffs just 5ish years after those trades
Possible video idea, the Stan Van Gundy era with the Detroit Pistons. Maybe have it show from the terrible contracts he gave like that 10 mil one to Jon luer, Stanley Johnson, Langston Galloway, ish Smith, and how he basically ruined the cap space there, and have it all come down to the Blake griffin trade.
