I’m a beginner in studying Italian...Please, make more beginner lessons. It’s so helpful to hear the language. Italian is such a beautiful language. Thank you!
I was 100% expecting a straightforward video on idioms (I know, how dared I underestimate Kylie?!) and was SO pleasantly surprised by this warm, beautiful instructional video full of welcoming energy that really transports you to one of those personal connections. I found myself trying to explain your videos the other day and I butchered it because I could not even begin to explain the energy and emotion your videos provoke in me. Eventually I just stopped trying, sent them a link "Just watch it. You'll understand what I mean"
Love your videos on speaking Italian. I’m headed over in November for the second time. I’ve been studying the language for a while now, on and off. Your videos are excellent and I thank you for taking the time to make them. I will be studying all your Italian language content for the next month and a half leading up to my trip. The way you explain the phrases and words is perfect for understanding Italian. I’m from the USA.
Kylie, this is so useful. I had no idea about 'Mi fido di lei' and 'Magari' is magical. You have inspired me to go back to learning Italian. Thank you so much!
Kylie, your enthusiasm is contagious, your natural way so very inviting. You are one of the best teachers I ever had.(I have been learning languages for about 50 years). BRAVISSIMA E TANTE GRAZIE!!!
The production values for this video are off the chart! The sound is perfect. The tight camera shots during the phrase teaching portions are so beautiful. What really blows my mind is the fact you’re able to produce this high-quality content so quickly and flawlessly. Delivering so much value for your viewers! ⚓️
Do more of these types of videos everyday Kylie, you are good at it . It is practical, yet still artistic, and draws on all of your skills, talents. The lovely scenery in the background also helps learning. You are certainly offering language learners something very different.
Thank you! Language is so close to my heart as it's completely changed how I experience Italy so if lovely people like you enjoy them, I will certainly continue.
I have been going on holiday to Italy every year since I was 5 years old but i still don't speak italian! I understand a lot, but I never actually learnt the language. It is my all time dream to learn it, maybe next year I will have time because I have passed my french language exam. This video was very nice, I just came home from spending due settimane a Napoli, Roma, Costiera Amalfitana... and it was very lovely to experience authentic Italy just because my parents spoke Italian to the locals. It really opens up masaive boundaries it's incredible! Please make more italian videos, I would love to see and learn more!!!
Kylie, grazie for this amazing video again! I was in Italy in April, I visited Naples and the Amalfi Coast, and last week i spent two days in Rome and also two more in Naples... the whole trip has truly stolen my heart, i fell deeply in love with Italy and I am already considering moving to Italy... you are a truly big inspiration for me, i can’t stop watching your videos to make myself more motivated about reaching my goals and never give up on this thing...❤️ Thank you Kylie, you are such a beautiful soul ❤️

Have really enjoyed your video, very useful phrases. Absolutely excited to hear "Magari". I expect I will use this word often. As much as I dream of living in Italy, magari. Planning an extended visit, what ever visa will allow. After my artist residency in Venice was cancelled for 2020, when we do get to resume the program, hopefully April 2022, I plan to make it an extended stay. After all we have experienced through Covid, once travel abroad is possible, it just feels right to make it a good long trip. I look forward to more Italian language lessons. Grazie from Canada.

Hey Kylie, I’ve been following you since you’re Early days when you had the TV series with that English bacala. Love your journey and passion. Keep it coming.
Yes. Love the lessons. Great job of explaining the reason behind the language! I do understand the language more than I can speak it because my Sicilian Grandma spoke in half English and half Italian. Thanks, Kylie for all your beautiful and informative videos. I am so glad I found you. I am on a mission to watch every one of them.
Great advice ! Can't wait to start using these phrases on my first ever trip over to Italy next week. Thanks again Kylie, keep doing what you're doing. Inspiring content.

Well done. You are a natural teacher and encourager. Beyond all your cinematic and storytelling skills, I think you'll find a receptive and supportive market of people that would enjoy you converting your experiences and knowledge into learning segments and programs. I think you have the complete package and believe your brand of Italian knowledge and training would rise above the current competitors. This segment of followers can complete your target support on Patreon and you could make more of the kind of videos you have a visiion AND have a life! Just a thought, Kylie.
“Io sono in pensione”. I love to travel to Italy and to keep my “little grey cells” active. What you do with your iItalian blog is quite excellent. I have been through Duolingo and also have used Pimsleur. Your presentations make me feel that one day I might be able to converse with the locals in Italy. Your lessons are quite entertaining and artistic. I really appreciate the lessons that deal with common phrases that a tourist would hear. Could you do a session on common idioms? Richard in the US
I speak Italian quite well now (as you said, perhaps an adult learner doesn’t become completely fluent). I just watched this video for your aesthetics more than the phrases. It’s good that you went beyond the usual “buongiorno” “buonasera” “grazie” “prego” that can be found in other videos 🤓❤️

Hi Kylie! Yet another great video !!! Frankly spoken, I had stumbled upon your channel just 2 days ago by pure coincidence as I was looking for some travel inspirations. So I would say you are obviously fluent.
You also raise an interesting point about “cadence”. Every language has its own rhythm and its own character. Italian is syllable timed (so stressed syllables are the same length as other syllables, unlike in Germanic languages such as English) and pronounced further forward in the mouth (as is typical of Southern Europe versus Northern). English-speaking learners are never taught this, so invariably end up sounding blatantly Anglo-Saxon even if their Italian is technically quite proficient.
