Anyone else notice how the narrator says woman to refer to more than one? A single female is a woman, multiple females are women. Women is plural not woman which is singular. Whoever wrote the script for this video needs basic grammatical lessons.

Who the hell came up with this list? Putting aside the wrong dates issue, why is Harold Shipman only a mention? Why is he described as the UKs biggest serial killer? His confirmed kill count is 218. That makes him possibly the third biggest serial killer of all time.

One serial killer who isn’t from Europe who gives me the chills is Albert Fish. In the early 1900s he terrorized New York and ate the remains of some of his victims. In one brutal instance he wrote a letter to the parents of a girl he murdered and then ate, and told them which parts of the body tasted the best. He was executed via electric chair in 1936.

No Fred and Rose West? No Ian Brady and Myra Hindley? Fred murdered up to 30 women (some of whom were found under his house and garden), far more than the 5 that Jack murdered. The only thing that makes Jack the Ripper stand out is the period that he was committing the murders.
I know the Moors Murders & the Wests are way more infamous than the Yorkshire ripper and their crimes were more shocking & horrific (the Moor murders one was very shocking for it’s time especially because one of the serial murder who committed the act was female and looked & acted very scary.) but I’m glad Watchmojo didn’t put them on this list because myself & many members of the British public wouldn’t want to see those 4 scums bags who are endless show on the media all the time, it’s bad enough they are on media a lot but it’s better to remember their victims and not the people who took their lives away.

By all means don't go into the gory details but not to put them on here is defeating the object of the video. @@AirQuotes Yes, it seems like they only mentioned Jack the Ripper because he's almost a legend, with even Hollywood making movies about him, whoever "him" was. Thing is, they don't even know who Jack the Ripper was, or even if it was a single person or just copycats. On the other hand, Fred West and Ian Brady are not only known 100% to have done their crimes but they were far, far worse, with Fred even murdering one of his own daughters, and Rose murdering another of their daughters!

After all my Mom did meet a relative of one of these people in person who was so infamous that he bragged about being related to this serial killer. He told her “If I tell who I am, you would be shocked, I am the relative of….” & so on so on. His right my Mom was shocked to be in the same room with someone related to a very infamous & hated figure in criminal history. I guess I was just being a bit oversensitive earlier.

Firstly, the pronunciation of women is annoying (woman)... Secondly, mass murders and serial killings are very different. I don't think Jack was the worst, the most regular of people like Shipman are the scariest for people. Killers walk amongst everyone, everyday, but everyone is programmed to look for the most suspicious looking when it's the most ordinary.

I've been studying serial killers for a long time and people always ask me how do people turn into killers and I always say that it has something to do with there upbringing or they were born that way. I know it may seem like a cop out but those are the two main reasons.
