    Good basic information on dirty dozen, eating cooked & raw veggies (although I would skip the microwave if possible), and some easy snacks to make.

    it was always a texture thing for me - I bought a vitamix and now have veggie/fruit smoothies EVERY day.

    Okay, so I'm 7% body fat but I never eat vegetables cause I think they're gross but I can't find anything to really explain to me why I need them. The reason I always hear is weight control but I don't need help there, do they do anything else?

      a lot! they have essential vitamins and minerals which help u stay healthy. they also contain a verity of antioxidants that have anti-aging properties. Therefore, even if u r at an ideal weight, eating more vegetable will make u healthier and eventually delay your aging.....
      P.s- even i'm at 7% body fat and ripped. but being ripped does not necessarily mean you are "healthy" and one must eat fruits and vegetables to be healthy in addition to look ripped.

      also, vegetables have an alkalizing effect on the body and no disease can thrive in an alkaline environment. I.e no cancer or any life threatning disease if u eat your fruits and vegetables
