I am not with the govt or the judiciary. But having faced legal issues, I know that justice system is broken. Something needs to be changed to make it work. People fight cases for years even for small matters. Even then there is no surety that actual law will be followed by the judiciary. If you go to any court, you will find people using money or connections to get the judgements in their favor. Many multinational companies do not want to invest in India because India scores low in judicial system. If the judiciary cannot see this then they are out of touch with the ground level reality. I really hope that the judiciary and the govt work together to improve our judicial system.

You highest judiciary people exposed yourself and you people lost your credibility in general public. You say constitution basic structure can't be altered then why you judges or justices have not corrected or no guts to reinstate the original words of Constitution which were altered by the amendments made by indira gandhi to the preamble of the constitution by adding secular and socialist words. Relating to judicial appointments the procedure prescribed by constitution is based on consultation with the honourable president of india not on absoulte recommendation by judges or collegium. It is you people in order to avoid confrontation & in fear with the then congress government abusing their power in appointing and transfer of judges at that time brought this collegium system. Yes you judges are biased with no credibility. It is clear from your judgements. You people avoid addressing suffering of kashmiri pandit till today on the other hand you people stand by the side of rohingya and every other illegal immigrants extending right to life principle to them and denying the same to kashmiri pandits. Like this there are so many examples. You people are absolutely double standard people & you have no right to talk. You people say there is absolute freedom of speech and expression on the other hand if any body common public criticizes you intitiate contempt proceedings on them and if any big lawyer or advocate does the same you ask him to pay fine of 1rs as fine and you'll leave them. You judges think ordinary people are fools but it is not the case instead you people are the one. By saying judicial activism you people poking your nose in every issues and entertain them to be presented before you even if it has no much importance for the nation or public at large and again you'll say there are lot of cases pending we need to tackle with this issues as soon as possible. There is illegal conversions going on, there is tresspass going on government lands on which you people give stay order and prevents eviction. Why because your favorable minority community mobs come after you and you'll be dealt in a particular way, private lands in the name of wakf and non sense which is visible to normal public but you people don't want to address these issues. Like this the list goes on.

The Janta Party (which has current BJP leaders) rolled back on most of IG's amendments but decided to leave the amendments to the preamble. The Constitution iherently (and through the basic structure pronouncements) protects secular principles with or without what's in the preamble

Ok. Let’s make this case for all. MP’s appoint next MP’s , IAS appoint another IAS, PM appoint another PM. EC appoint next EC. Make it a circus and then call it as independence is needed.

Why judiciary is so great, which don't look for any reforms?
When it is same law, why two courts deliver two opposite judgement for the same case?
A common man has to spend his lifetime in courts, why it so?
Live telecasted cases like Smt Indira Gandhi and Mumbai terrorist attacks took years for judgement. Why?
Does the judgement is based on law or is it based on their views?

Are you people mad? The current NDA government is not responsible for bringing NJAC Act. The UPA Government had set up the Second Administrative Reforms Commission in 2005. The second administrative reforms in its fourth report titled "Ethics in Governance" had recommended setting up of NJAC. The then UPA government comprising of both Kapil Sibal and Chidambaram as Cabinet Ministers had approved the recommendations for implementation. The NDA government has only implemented those recommendations in its very first year i.e. 2014. Why are blaming the current government?

If a judge is appointed by a gov then the judge will be loyal to the gov cause he came into power cause of the gov. He will definitely pass laws & judgements in favour of the gov which was the case in emergency during Indira Gandhi's period.
But if the judiciary appoints the judges, the judges will be independent. The judge who appointed them will be gone in a year or two..but what about the government?

Its really funny for a judge to say that the constitution cant be changed ,, Then how the word secularism got into constitution when it was not there on original drafting of the constitution ... We poor people of India ( not rich as they have other ways to resolve their grievances ) want our judiciary to be efficient , proactive , corrupt free as judiciary is our last resort when all other pillars fail ,,, Indian judiciary got its first shock when four judges conducted press conference to air their grievances ,,, Judiciary got second shock when some of the judges were dragged into corruption allegations ... Judiciary still following their vacation timing , despite the fact that was a practice from a racial british system when they ruled India ... When our poor people have to work at least 18 hours and have to lay in huts ,,, judiciary is enjoying life following all jingoistic practices which should have been thrown out when British left us ,,, judges should first sit together and ponder how to reduce timing between appeal and final verdict ,,, even the system of collegium is getting questionable ramifications ,,,, address that instead of sitting on judgement what vice president or law minister mentioned as finally they are politicians and their business is to work for people
