4:30 AlSi is aluminum silicone. It’s used in the lining of the cylinders/cylinder heads I believe in order to reduce wear to cylinder walls and have tighter tolerances. My old CLK Mercedes with the 3.2 V6 had that

If AlSi is an alloy, doesn't it have to use Metals and Metalloids, thus Silicon, instead of Silicone with is a composite on itself?
I find no hydrogen or oxygen in these kinds of Alloys, so it has to be Silicon.
As a major car enthusiast, I appreciate the effort you put into explaining the technical details when designing the engine, as I’m not sure very many people would have! Very well done, now I just have to come up with a check for Elon Musk’s ENTIRE net worth of around $192 billion to pay for this car!

It looks like a Polestar and Rolls Royce came together. I like it because it doesn't look that much like a Rolls but I Def wouldn't pay millions for it. I'd probably pay a solid 400k or less. The rear also looks like a Buick

Ford and GM co-developed a 10 speed automatic. That is what you'll find in the new F-150s.
There are 10 speeds, but no 10 speed Dual Clutch transmissions :P

@@sebastianhasbun3846 The 9HDCT transmission is the world's first transverse P2 hybrid 9-speed wet-type dual clutch transmission. I know it’s not the same as a conventional dct. But it literally is a dct because it has dual clutches

less displacement -> less weight in the rotating assembly -> easier to make the engine have no vibrations

Ngl i made a d-series variant in beamng with mods it has a top speed of 724 mph. It did the quarter mile in 5.2 seconds. Its the most insane thing thing ive ever built and ive made a lot of vehicles in beamng. Great video keep up the good work!

The fastest production car is still a Bugatti. Their Chirone Super Sport. Really inspiring name if you ask me. It hit 304 mph on a track. But I wanted to say that it at least is a production car unlike the ssc tuatara that you mentioned which has sold only one unit.
The agera R is the most accessible of the three and with a valid airspeed going wind assisted and not.

Half unrelated but I saw this first after fixing my Opera GX (it got corrupted and I fixed it, then waited about a day for it to update because it was finally able to after being fixed by me, then I went on TH-cam using opera for the first time in ever and then I see this and a sponsor calling it good. Now that it’s running, it’s brilliant! Just make sure to keep an eye on it and have a VPN.)

fords 10 speed is a triple clutch trans so i guess thats the closest to a 10 speed dual clutch also i think .175 is the lowest production drag coefficient so not to far from yours

That dual clutch would probably be jerky in stop and go traffic
It would be awful, torque modulation would be extremely difficult to get moderately smooth at those output numbers.. Anyone with a sense of drivetrain discernment wouldve added a torque converter..
Maybe it's a wet clutch instead of the common dry clutch. Newer wet ones are much better at stop and starts

I do agree that RR and Bentley are the best cars to point A to point B but only a short amount of time before you need to go to the gas station. Because of how heavy they are, they only get from 17-18mpg.

In regards to the gearbox - Mercedes features a 9 speed multi-clutch transmission so that's the highest in the market for double clutch technology and FORD-GM has a ZF8HP derived 10-speed auto with two extra ratios to I think ZF8HP70 or ZF8HP90 iirc.

@@memorimusic420 My bad, MB uses planetary gearset and stil have clutches, but its not a regular automatic trasmission, but multi clutch trasmission.
And yeah, Ford uses like 6 clutches in his 10-speed trasmission, so its not a dual clutch as I meant it. :(
But automatic trasmission have dual clutches. Like DSG, PDK, Getrag, Tremec etc.
