sounds like the "need" to spend 15% turns into the "willing" to once you get closer to capping 1 trucks profits. that's promising data for a guy like me who's just starting out. sounds like you are to a point where your 15 rule has turned into more of a 5-10 rule (guessing, not sure how much you spend to make that 30k happen). but great videos. brand new to this game and youre a smart dude Aaron.
yes. Year 2 you may not even need to spend that much, but being "willing to" is the magic.

Instead of yard signs and door knocking, I’ve had MUCH better success having a nice flyer and taking them into other small bizs and leave them by the register. Most ofher small bizs will let ya do this. I’ve ran MANY bizs and always have much more success going this route. Now I’m in a niche market that has its own style of play. But I still put out flyers at other bizs.

I've seen this. I also consider my time at $15/hour spent as part of this. Why so low? Because walking and doing flyers is $15/hour work and it's the substitute to paying someone to do it.
That foot bridge does equate though because you only spend that money once what I mean by only spend that money once? Is that when you spend that 199 a month the first time according to what you guys have all said about footbridge you know when somebody calls you whether or not they got, your name from your website. You can have it sent that way. It’s my understanding anyway so technically when you make that first sale from your website and you close that deal that money is only spent once because every time somebody calls you from your website that’s the first time right the return can be and is every time they call you if you get five calls you paid for that website five times that month. That is what I’m trying to say.

Sry, this advice is incomplete and therefore not good advice.
15% is quite high if you're not good at marketing and/or just starting out. You can easily spend 15% or more and still get $0.
You need to exhaust your free/cheap marketing options first before spending money. Its as simple as asking for referrals. Providing an excellent service will get you recommended or hired again.
If you feel its time to run ads, you need to test your ads. Don't blow your marketing budget on 50,000 DIY flyers, single draft, only to realise you still have to distribute them.

Real basic! $1800 of what I put out this year ain't even printed yet: a real estate folder and three golf course scorecards. But rather than count that in my 15% I am going all out again! 1st year I grossed over 30k August & September! Really looking forward to Footbridge traction next year and my new (used) trailer I am setting up! It is truly is a joy
