That is way to much trouble just tape it off. Look up a couple videos of other people Plasti Dipping badges. Seriously don't try to take it off and then put it back on just to Plasti Dip.

Alcohol will not eat your clear coat at all. Many time I have even used acetone to remove stubborn stickies with zero negative effects to paint. Acetone would have the sticky crap gone in 10 seconds as well.

The power is just insane! I am actaully replacingmy 392 emblems with the 6.4 bee and romoving the rt badge in the back with an SRT Power badge!
iRebelGhost No the badge on the grille is just held in place by some clips! It takes a little force to pop it off but eventually after messing with it enough it will pop off. I changed mine out a while ago and forgot the trick to it so i'd search around google and there are some helpful tips there!
When I brought my rt charger, the previous owner put a hood scoop on and I thought it looked stupid, my friend used a heat gun to remove it and PB BLASTER to remove the double sided tape and anything with amonia. Only read this comment if u want a easier and cleaner way.

I just rebadged my SRT Charger replacing with black emblems... looks great
never use alcohol, that's not good. I've heard that you can use WD to remove the sticky stuff and that it does not hurt the paint
Crazy SRT8 use wd or turtlewax adhesive remover. That stuff is awesome.
So you put the Ram Hemi logo on it, that's the same style as what's on all Ram Hemi's especially the Ram Rebel

Yeah I like the theme all black . I got a white hemi with chrome wheels . I can only keep it chrome emblems 😂
