When you look at the data sheet you see that the processor is not supporting more. I did do it once (without knowing the processor specs) and it did not work. But I am not sure if the RAM speed was the correct one. I had an old one sitting about without much details about it, so it could have been something else...
Thanks! I upgraded my ancient EeePC to use a cheap SSD card. Still slow, but not nearly as bad. This guide helped a lot.

hi, can we put a ssd instead of a causual HDD inside?
adeline grolet remove hdd and install ssd, then install Windows / Linux :-) It will be works !
