Now some more: A REALLY GREAT PEDAL! IT actually sounds very similar to my Björn Juhl BJFE Honey Bee ( a Clone but meticulously made from the first model!) Funnily enough, the controls all 9 o´clock, volume near 10, it sounds quite close to the original Honey Bee, thats the FET-transistors at their best: dynamic soft sounding!! As you well demonstrate, it can be set to crunch but played clean with less force from your hands...! Sooo Glad I ran into this pedal, the looks are a bit misguiding: I think its a softy rather than a badass, but then again when gained up it can scream...., Anywhoo, I play mostly blues and jazzy stuff improvising, and set cleanish this brings class to your tone! Heartily recommended!
Absolutely love this pedal! Serious, it's one of the very best pedals I've owned that actually has tone and warmth. Cut-boost works great but I wish it had another pushbutton instead of the switch to activate it. Surprised your using a katana amp. I'm not into solid state, but sounds good here.
@@thepedalpicassos I like your philosophy! The Fat Sugar is awesome. I may as well get the Variac Fuzz too then I’ll have the complete Bad Ass range!!!😁
Nice demo but you missed one it's best feature . Push the tone right up, keep the gain around 8 to 9 o'clock and use the cut and leave your amp on clean. You will get a better Dumble sound then pedals pushing the Dumble thing and charging 2 or 3 times the price. On a Strat you get the bell in the chime even on the low E and A string with this setting. In fact you could use this pedal as an always on for your clean sound.
Great sounding pedal, definitely at the top of my overdrive want list.
It’s soooooooo good!!!!
Around 9:30 you started making this thing usable for real life. Great demo, you made me order one 👍
just bought one, never could make the DOD Looking Glass work right with drive...
Good job! Let us know how you get along with it!
@@thepedalpicassos Hi there, just tried it shortly, seems very usable, nice tone & dynamics!
