So beautiful! I was there the second week of July. I really want to go back because I only spent a couple of (long) days there. I made my camp in West Yellowstone and did both loops in two days. Your videos are wonderful but still don't do it justice that being there does. Loved it so much!

Wonderful! No need to complain about the weather in Yellowstone. The overcast conditions added a moody element to the mist rising from the hot springs and geysers that you don't normally see in travel photos. The slow-motion shots of the waterfall- -very cinematic! Thank you for an enjoyable travel experience!

Mammoth Hot Spring has changed a lot in the last decade. Robert visited on a rainy day so it did not look as parched as it stands today. The difference between last two times I visited the park is strikingly different. I asked a Park Ranger but she had no idea why the changes have occurred. Look at the difference from the last time Robert visited Yellowstone in 2019, its quite something to see.

Make sure when you go to Yellowstone next, take the hike up to look down on the Grand Prismatic. It is worth it.... I live about 2 hours from Yellowstone and owned a cabin for 10 years only 30 minutes from it. I still camp up there... went in in early June this year, will go back up soon. I enjoyed this video, nice to see the Park through other eyes...

Hi Robert! I just stumbled on your youtube videos and have been enjoying your travels with you. The one's in Wyoming, like when you went to the badlands, Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, etc, are like taking a walk down memory lane for me. I have been visiting those parts since my folks moved out there over 30 years ago. It was nice to relive some of the scenery. I also got excited to see a picture you flashed in the beginning of this video of that waterfall in Yellowstone. I have that same framed shot! Safe travels Robert, and thanks for taking us with you :)

More great memories. I was there as a little kid, and remember it well. Old Faithful didn't have the barrier around it back then, and we were almost close enough to get 'rained on' (this was in the early 60s) - the ranger even let me walk out on the hard crust for a few feet while waiting to look at the rock (geyserite). I also remember Yellowstone lake quite well - and fishing in the lake. We had a campsite very close to the water - easy walking distance, even for a little kid.
Our dream is going to Yellowstone, as it's been around 60 years since I was last there (and I really would like to see more) along with the Grant Tetons and Craters of the Moon (both of which I remember visiting as a little kid).
I'm also looking forward to your next segment. I don't remember ever visiting Glacier NP, and the road trip there looks like it would be quite scenic and enjoyable. Since (I think I've mentioned this) one of our (my brother and parents) dreams when I was in High School was to convert a bus and go to Alaska one summer, the rest of this trip will in a way be like having that trip!
BTW - all of the fog indicated that the humidity was high and the air unstable. I wasn't surprised that it rained again later because of that - but I also need to say that I found all the fog to be quite beautiful in its own way.
