Just a word of caution for future trips...unless you had a valid permit...it is ILLEGAL to fly drones in our National Parks. "Penalties for flying drone in national parks... If you are caught flying your drone inside any National Park area without a valid permit or permission from the park superintendent, you might face up to six months in jail and/or up-to $5000 in fines."
Thanks Bruin! We found this out through a ranger. In this video we only flew in one spot that wasn't aloud and we came off with a warning. Because we travel a lot with the drone we don't always have time and internet to know the restrictions but luckily this ranger was super nice. It was no problem and we had a nice conversation about this. He was pleased that I do fly very cautious 😅🙏 thanks for the heads up and cheers!

We made two road trips first from Vegas to Salt Lake 😁👍🏻 really enjoyed both and we still consider this particular video one of the absolute highlights in the 1,5 year that we are traveling now. We parked and slept about everywhere.. there isn’t really an app, but parking lots, rest stops and sometimes just next to a playground for Jens, like you see in the video. In the parks we sometimes put the fee in the box when nobody was there (out of season) and sometimes we drove in at night and just found a parking lot there too, when campsites were full. We didn’t really plan all this and it turned out to be safe and easy. Enjoy your trip in August and cheers 😁👍🏻
I might have missed it but what time of year was this. I did Utah last year would like to do glacier Teton and Yellowstone. I like the fringe seasons but don’t want to run into to much snow where they close it
Haha that’s a common mistake. They have both. And we saw a lot of both of them 😁 it’s the only place in the entire world that has both crocodiles and alligators 😍

The "lonely male grizzly" at the 10:10 mark is a cinnamon black bear. The bears at the 10:53 mark are grizzlies. Nice video.
