It's better it takes time to develop than making it cheaper and then what you get is people coming to build stupid bungalows and nonsense estates that will keep making the country a third-world nation. Abeg slow and steady wins the race. Besides, you can't be comparing Alaro and Eko Atlantic- Alaro is mainly commercial with little residential for the workers but Eko Atlantic is multifaceted and it's build for the future- I bet you you won't see high rising building in Alaro.. just the normal estate. Moreover, it's a mistake to say Eko Atlantic- should learn from Alaro that's insulting no cap- how can you compare Alaro with E.A for goodness sake 😢. E.A house the biggest US consulate in the world- moreover, most of those empty lands you see there are bought already. The Ukraine-russian war affected alot of things coupled with COVID-19..and also it's one thing to buy it's another thing to build. Building in E.A is not those bungalows in Alaro dear, we're talking about sky scrappers, high rising buildings, towers,..Banana Island was initially meant to contain high rising tower buy because of this same mentality that Nigerians have- they don't like development - only to build estate and cash out not minding if a nation is moving backward or towards development. I think your content should encourage and provide more support in your little way to encourage development - even though it's costly-besides every new face of development comes with an expensive start...how many high rise buildings can you see in Nigeria? Yet we call ourselves giant of Africa 😢 go to small Tanzania, Rwanda and Mozambique then you will see how dwarf Nigeria us when it comes to development. Abeg let it take time...it's for the future.. enough of real estate it's taking us nowhere!
Thanks for your input. But to clarify a few things: Alaro is mixed used; light industrial, commercial and residential. For the commercial building guidelines allow up to 26 floors. I’ll concede that residential is capped at 4 floors. I work with the guys at both eko Atlantic and Alaro and I have so many other content on my page; ‘praising’ eko Atlantic. In any case ; thanks for watching and your insights
@@ownahometv they allow up to 26 floors but I'm of a strong opinion that no one would build up to that. Nigerians are too comfortable with real estate where you only have low residential buildings..I understand the idea of self-containment but they are getting too much and they're space-taking buildings... anytime you fly a drone around a city especially Lagos- one expect to see high rising building, towers, sky scrapers..these give beauty to the city...but seeing only low buildings especially along the coastal lines is annoying. You're actually doing well sir and I appreciate your efforts.. ofcourse I watch every of your videos and they have been positive but I didn't expect you to talk this way about E.A knowing well that it's a futuristic project... even if their plan (E.A) is not Nigerians standard but at least they are setting pace for superior development- Nigeria should have the most sky scrappers in the continent looking at our foundation as one of the pace setters in development - third main land bridge formerly the longest in Africa, first and NTA largest tv network in Africa, formerly militarily we were at front but now everything is just shadows of the past...when I first saw the design of Eko Atlantic I was very happy that Nigeria is beginning to wake up to their true identity...by now I was imagining there's gonna be different set of sky scrappers on the E.A but you know our government isn't helping too.. people are also afraid to invest because of insecurities et al. It's well. I hope Nigerian dream come true again. Thanks brother.well done. You're a true patriotic.🥰👍
Eko Atlantic and Alaro City are 2 unique futuristic projects, couple with their Free Zone advantage. I think I can say that they are the first of their kind in Nigeria While Eko Atlantic is more Residential & Commercial (due to its proximity to the commercial nerve center) Alaro City will be a blend of Residential, Commercial and light Industrial (due to its proximity to industrial activities as well as the proposed airport)
@@taiwoyemi7058The truth is that Lagos has more skyscrapers than the aforementioned African cities. Lagos appears to have fewer skyscrapers than other African countries because high-rise buildings in Lagos are widely apart. CMS; IKOYI, V.I have approximately 25 towers that exceed 20 floors. If the skyscrapers in these districts are clustered together, the vista will be different.
Too much mixed signal coming out of Lagos, on the one hand the state government demolished multi million dollar LandMark beach resort, to build a road that was later abandoned. Then on the other hand the same government are seeking investors to invest in real estate, the most important thing about investing is stability. The environment in Nigeria is deeply unstable for real investors to come into the sector, my research also shows that 10 multi national companies have left Nigeria due to harsh economic conditions. The only person who will invest in such unpredictable climate are corrupt politicians who use such projects to launder money and loan shark pretentiously acting as investors.
The road was never abandoned. Get you facts right. Infact Contruction is ongoingas we speak on multiple sites on the same road project. Landmark was not demolished. The breach front was taken for the road project.
That is a federal project that will affect 9 states,my state inclusive Rivera state so are u saying I should not invest in any of these states bcos of one coastal road?
Both cities are beautiful & necessary for the Nigerian economy, much respect from SA🇿🇦
They are both FTZ’s but at very different price points - not really in competition. EA customer profile not the same as AC.
very insightful, thanks a lot👍
👍🏻👍🏻

Are anybody even investing in this project or is it joke a hype😅
yes
They need to fix the flooding problem before putting up extravagant structures that will become inhabitable due to flooding.
