Dude, what did you mean by the line that you're no longer in Nigeria once you step into the Lekki Free Trade Zone? You can be serious. Please don't dramatize matters of state sovereignty unnecessarily. I happen to be a lawyer. A free trade zone is not a sovereign country or territory and has no such status in international law. It's still part and parcel of Nigeria. Period, no it's or buts. It was Nigerian government that granted it all those exceptions and privileges that you talk about. It's not the only free trade zone in Nigeria, by the way. There are several free trade zones in Nigeria created of course by the Nigerian government and tax free and other incentives are not forever.but a time certain. With that said, I totally and unreservedly applaud your efforts, watching this from the United States. Kudos. It's individuals that build a nation while the government provides the enabling environment. The Nigerian government has admirably done its part and over to the citizens to step up to the plate. I believe your efforts will spur others of like mind to move in similar directions.

That was how investors invested with Landmark… we all know how the story ended… foreign investors are not dumb, they research before putting in their money into something

Even on that landmark stuff, have you checked what the law says on ownership of coastal lands in nigeria? If you buy a land from omo onile and you don't check from your lawyers, you are on your own

There is already considerable involvement of the state government in Alaro city with the provision of infrastructures. It certainly can not go the Landmark way.
