Day 2: Scenic, sunny ride from Lanercost to Haltwhistle and then to Hexham along the norther frontier of the Roman Empire. Glorious landscapes with evidence of Romans everywhere
Day 3: Leisurely ride along the varied scenery of the Tyne valley from Hexham to Newcastle
