As someone with Polish heritage who grew up eating gowumpki (cabbage rolls), this looks delicious. Never thought about turning it into a casserole. Thank you Tammy.
I am excited to try this recipe because everything looks delicious, however, I have one question. After watching this video in it's entirety several times I just wanted to know when and where the chicken broth was added?
This is the best for when you are craving gulobki but you just can’t with the rolls because you are too exhausted. I call it “lazy day cabbage rolls”. This is a little bit different than how I do it personally but still a very nice video.

Well Tammi you inspired me to do some fusion cooking of my own. Hows "Cabbage Lasagna" sound. Oh, my secret for cabbage rolls is freezing the head of cabbage a couple a days ahead of preparing the cabbage rolls. take the head out a day before and thaw it out in the fridge. or on the counter in a stainless steel bowl with a lid. Check it out. It works great. I have 2 heads in the freezer now. So I'm thinking instead of lasagna noodles use cabbage leaves instead and tweek it from there. Some times you give me some of the best ideas. Thanks again! from this ol Irishman...
this would be so economical. with the prices , we could all use that. Not to mention it looks so good. my girl cannot eat rice so I would leave that out. I love ground turkey. thank you for sharing.

This is a cabbage lasagna if you take out the rice and add ricotta
