    if bambu labs made a 300^3 or even 350^3 printer they would take over the market. I for one would drop 1500-2000 easily for one of those. I cant wait for that day and i hope its sometime this year

      If their customer service didn’t suck so bad…. Qidi has the best service in the industry and they don’t repair parts, they ship new ones quickly if anything breaks.

      Referring to the latest official statements from bambu they still don´t plan bigger sized printers than the x1 carbon so they literally stuck at the 256 mm square print size. I got the X Max 3 myself and used to print with the reality Ender 5 plus for bigger prints before - but even with some optimization as Bondtech extruder among other things the print quality was still average (in the best usecases) and 4 times slower than the Qidi. Otherwise the Qidi does not reach the quality of my Raise 3D IDEX which has - to be honest - a complete different prize tag an still is much slower than the Qidi.

      Dont be an "apple fanboy" lmao. There are much better current released large volume printers like the Kobra 2 Max (it makes flawless prints) Bed leveling is amazing. Does a larger volume than bambu will ever produce.

      You do know that anything you do on a bambu printer gets sent to them. any gcode any stl everything you put in that software. You can not do anything that requires a NDA. If you are serious about doing prototypes and dont want others to have access to your design you are not going to want to do it on a bambu printer.

    Thanks just subbed. I'm curious about firmware. If it is running klipper and has fluid access, are you able to change config file? Can you do things like add ABL/auto purge that only does probing to the size of the object instead of the whole bed? This is easy to do with stock klipper on any machine. Im hoping you can still manage macros and change config for things like this. Thanks!!

    At least you printed something other then PLA, because that is why i want to buy this printer, to use high temperature abrasive filaments. I would like to see more prints with that and the hardened nozzle. And why you set the chamber temperature to 50° and not to 65° which is the max possible temperature, every Kelvin counts ?

    • @playconveyor
      @playconveyor  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the watch! Yes definitely, since we’ve had it it’s basically being used to print TPU, ASA and Nylon, so far it’s not failed once and the results have been excellent! The 50c was just to save a bit of energy, even though would be very minimal saving, I’ve found ASA prints fine at 50c heated chamber… especially the Filamentive stuff!

    you can add a camera yourself.... theres a usb on the motherboard for it... qidi has a video guide on installing one ... its really easy.
    also regarding the filament.... put it at the rear side inside the dryer box.... not on the back.
    btw, the dimensions width and depth is actually smaller than the og xmax... which had a smaller build area

    • @Heiserton
      @Heiserton 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It really. Multi color is still a bit of a gimmick. It wastes an incredible amount of material. Unless you’re doing an IDEX setup, single extrusion multiple color prints are a huge waste of time and filament.

    • @Horsenb
      @Horsenb 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends o what you want from a printer. I want speed an quality. And build volume is way more important than colour changes.
