Blessing in disguise that you started at the back, if you'd started as originally planned in the yellow wave the crowd didn't thin out till on the way back past Rodean. So glass halffull, Rich.
Tricky trying to weave through from the back. Looks like you could of easily knocked another 90 seconds off had you been with the right pace group. I can't remember if you said you'd found another plan to follow after having to move away from the Ben Parkes one. If so which did you go with and how are you finding it?
Thank you yes you're right, I could have literally finished 90 seconds faster! Luckily I was just setting out to see what I could do rather than get a PB so not too annoyed! Ah yes so I started following the 12 week advanced marathon plan supplied by Manchester Marathon themselves. I deviated from it this week due to the race, and I must admit I find some of the speed workouts a bit weird so I may cherry pick from Ben Parkes after all! x
Nice job! Always annoying dodging the crowd in the beginning. Great job getting back on pace, though. I’ve been trying to go sub-8 minutes in the half for 3 years - you made it look easy.
What’s up with homeboy driving is there a fire round his house or does he need a dump? Looks like he’s driving like an absolute loon. Well done on the run anyways keep up the good work 👍
Well done Rich. Top effort
thank you very much! x
enjoyed the car park footage especially.
Thank you - I'm very pleased. I try to put something in for everyone x
Yeeeesss! Great result, Rich, and a cracking documentary. I acted surprised at the result, even though I'd seen it on Strava already 👍🏻🏃♂️😯
ah lovely, thank you for playing along! x
7:12: Am amazed you had the restraint to not shout "you're going the wrong way mate"
Ha you're right - what a missed opportunity!
A most serene sub 1:45 👏🏻
Cool medal too!
Thanks Alex! And not really expected either. Nice medal - partly why we entered this one again x

@@ndameteffer4335 very nice! x
As others have said. Hard work weaving around people. Great job though. Looked a well supported course.
thank you very much. Yes, tricky indeed but there we are. Just happy to see where my fitness was! It is a good race to be fair x
More of Dale please - brings a bit of class to the show
I will pass that on and don't worry he will feature again - the whole thing hinges on him to be honest x

haha he probably just wanted to get home as fast as possible so he didn't have to put up with my tedious nonsense any longer. Thanks for watching! x
