I have two Puckipuppy e-bikes and enjoy them both. I put over 1000 miles on my 26 inch Flamingo in the last 9 months without any issues. I purchased a 20 inch Hummingbird folding bike during prime day around Thanksgiving and now have over 350 miles without issues. Since my last purchase Puckipuppy has added tab out 5 new models to their lineup so I feel they may be around for awhile. When I purchased my first bike the had 3 models with a total of around 10 reviews on Amazon.

You mean like Lectric ebikes and their crappy warranty? I've had nothing but problems with the rear wheel on my XP 2.0 so much so that I'm on my 3rd one under warranty and it's going to crap. I'm on my second year of ownership and guess what? No more warranty. They even replied to my email to the effect that my bike's 2 years old and that's probably one of the reasons I'm having wheel issues. Their bikes aren't built to last is the impression I got from that. Makes sense seeing as how their bikes are so inexpensive. I even asked them to maybe send me a set of spokes to which they replied that they can't because it's a safety issue? WTF? They've literally sent me replacement spokes before. Just more proof that they're glorified resellers with absolutely no mechanical aptitude whatsoever.

The state of ebikes right now reminds me of BMX during the 80's boom when a ton of random companies were dumping bikes into the market, some of which never even got past having an ad in Plus or Freestylin'. I guess having options is good, but the problems arise when you need help with an issue and customer service is non-existent because the "company" doesn't actually exist.

You should check out Wired e bikes out of Chicago. The frames are designed here but made in China. $1999 for a 60v full suspension with dual batteries, 4 piston brakes, 203 rotors, thru axle, and a potted controller that pulls 3200 watts peak. Amazing customer service and a really great value.

I would get a E Cells over a wired from prices and quality that exceeds wired and actually stable at 40 with excellent service and their comptroller's wont overheat because of squeezing more out of the motor to gain an extra 3 to 4mph more. no thanks.

Yeah that's the type of bike I'd buy and put stickers over the name... Unless they sent one to me to review then I wouldn't, but I would after the review. 😂

It will be interesting to see who survives, but probably the only one(s) with a chance will be those who change and develop their own new designs, and even then it a ?.

Build your own I put a 500 watt bafang hub w 14.5 amp hr battery on 26 inch Gt performer it does 22 mph has good range if you don't run flat out and the motor kit was more than the bike and I can upgrade and customize like put a mid drive in with a geared hub of some type to add power torque and range
