I like the “plug meta” as me and my friends call it. Everyone is fighting over the final cashbox later in the game and not waiting to swoop in last second. It’s more engaging

I haven't really been keeping up on the day to day of EE hunts, but I'm curious - since the last patch(ish) I've been seeing single scene images flash by after the "rules" screen when a match is loading. Is this part of an EE puzzle or just a visual bug? 😂
I agree that they basically had the game on early access until now, I actually thought the same around the start of season 3 But at the same time, I don't think it would've been right for them to release an early access or a beta with monetized cosmetics, I feel like people would not respect them as devs as much as they do if Embark did that
Defender bonus is almost meaningless now with how far a coin spawns you from the objective and the rest of your team. It rarely benefits to coin now. They need to fix coin spawns.

Something minor but consider plugging in a controller for the free cam B roll in the future as it'd be MUCH smoother to fly around with Otherwise, man I love this series- thanks Rockhound.
@@RockhoundBlack can suggest the Xbox elite series. Amazing controllers but for game videography the tweaks you can do to the sticks and triggers (via the app, to things like sensitivity especially, or remapping to do multiple degrees of freedom/rotation at once) make them second to none. 🤗
Might be worth waiting a few weeks for Amazon prime day! They usually have great deals on all controllers but especially the higher end Xbox elites or razers etc

But have we ever thought to ourselves that maybe there is nothing beyond them? how do we know if the walls we pass just leads us to another wall, a challenge that just leads into another challenge, an endless cycle of looking over the walls to just see another wall.
I think embark should increase the amount of money 4th place teams gets from cashouts to make it easy for a last second play not needing to double stack the cashboxes
My biggest issue with the game was not addressed at all. Casual does not have any focus given to it at all. They're catering entirely to a competitive playstyle. I agreed with you on that the first year of the game should have been called "Early Access". But too little too late. I've lost any motivation to play or support The Finals. At the moment I have no intentions of ever touching it again. I'll keep watching content creators because they're the ones I want to support now, and not the game itself.
@@ketufo not for me it isn't. Same repetitive gameplay loop, going against the same team comps. Having a good match, instead of feeling great that I did well just leaves me with an impending doom that the remainder of my playtime will be against sweats. In that sense, I've experienced all that the game has to offer.

Watch the video by NorthstarUK called "The mechanical arms race that is killing online games". It's very well made and it'll help you get a perspective of my POV. Look through Rockhound's older videos where you'll see my comments. I was optimistic and supportive of the game. I wanted it to succeed and be what I would have fun playing. It's just not it.

im ok with no gadgets but i would like to see a new one maybe mid season so the seasons have stuff in between besides just cosmetics

If you set up a private match, you can choose to be a spectator rather than play.
