I really love this kind of videos, and you are exactly the person I want to see making them! Thanks for the great content, those devs over at Embark are insane.
11:33 the 6 degrees of freedom apartment name is actually a reference to the game taking place in VR as VR headsets have 6 degrees of freedom in movement
On the main screen where you see your character, if you turn off music and wait on this screen, you can hear not only the crowd cheering but also The Announcer, not sure what exactly he says but he is speaking, could be something
I believe he’s talking about the pre-game prep room, where you can change your load-out and reserve. While there, you can hear the crowd cheering in the background
The cloud on the night variant of skyway stadium shown at 13:34 can also be seen during the day time at 30 degrees north east, on the horizon above the stands. Personally I think it looks a little like a cat
Dude! That first part about the goggles. I was JUST talking about this. So another thing about the VR, if you look down at your feet a certain way you can notice your perception of the world kind of "fishbowl lens" exactly how it does in VR. Edit, my theory on sys horizons' design is that each color section of the map is ripped from different locations irl
Haven’t seen any posts about this, but the bell on Kyoto actually makes a deep chime sound when you shoot it! Really cool stuff. I wonder if it can be heard across the map?
@@rRickyMartin Yes, it can be heard a long way away, and still chimes when broken. I included that in my recent video about the Kyoto map, so didn’t add it into this vid.
Wow...All of these but 1 of them have blown my mind 😂 Been playing this game non stop forever it seems & I can't believe I missed all these! Thank you so much for this video, best game ever 🎉
About the bell on the kyoto map. It probably is a traditional dotaku and if so some ideas: did somebody try to interact with it plus the rice sacks together? Because they were used for agriculture rituals. Also maybe it has to touch the ground, because they "should be buried" in some rituals. Also they were arguably used as sundials so maybe a hint to the other easter eggs with astronomical background? And last but not least they also arguably have a connection with producing gold so maybe something with the elements of the other easter egg is possible. Just some ideas, didnt prove any of them
Or another direction: if it resembles the bell at chion-in at kyoto it could have something to do with its traditional ringing twice a year: It is only rung twice a year, during the Gyoki Daie in April and on New Year’s Eve where it is rung 108 times by a team of 1 leader and 16 assistants. The sound of the bell ringing is considered to be one of the poetic charms of winter in Kyoto.
Not sure if anyone is reading this, but I'd like to mention it. Along side the part where it says "GOOD EVENING! THIS BROADCAST HAS BEEN HACKED BY CNS [ ONE NIGHT, THREE DAWNS. SEE THE SIGNS ]", it also says below it "[ SEEK THE TRUTH BEYOND THE WALLS !]" below it. Hopefully someone finds this useful.
Yeah, that was actually the first CNS message we received. The one night and three dawns one was the first that gave us some clear type of riddle to solve.
@@RockhoundBlack Couldn't the "beyond the walls part" literally mean something behind a wall? Maybe using a dematerializer to access it? You've already shown that there are hidden rooms only accessible with the dematerializer.
Here's an easter egg i found but i don't know if it was talked about: There's a very low chance of doing the horse emote (which was given during the wild west event) and to reproduce an actual horse whinny sound. It happened to me once during a team showcase at the start of every match.
If you equip it in the UI and watch it to the end, the horse whinnies - maybe it never played right through for you because the emotes in the intro are shortened?
I love that devs put so much clear love into the game which saddens me that the battle passes are only temporarily available over being always available like in Deep Rock Galactic and Helldivers 2. Buying a battle pass then forced to grind it to unlock everything before a deadline is, for me, abusive and leads me to never buy them because what's the point if you can't unlock everything and the grind saps the intrinsic fun out of it. Meanwhile games that make them always available like DRG's performance passes and Helldivers 2's warbonds effectively let me progress at my own enjoyable pace and so I buy them more frequently (or in DRG's case I buy the cosmetic packs as a thank you). When will devs learn that the pressure purchases caused by deadlines will increase player burnout and thus player retention and engagement, leading to fewer customers. Plus keeping the old passes around lets you get multiple purchases out new customers that join in the future instead of just the current pass.
This is such a great game. It deserves so much more than a youtube community where half of the content is "the finals is dieing!!!" Please, find another way to say that you want ranked cashout people...
Isn't the 6 degree of freedom more likely to be a VR reference? I remember when that was actually a selling point back in the early days of VR lol, not all the headsets had the degrees we have now and so they'd often mention how many degrees you'd get. Instantly made me think of that so maybe that helps rule it out as a reference for the 3 dawns? :)
Yes, "6DOF" references the VR head and hand tracking having 3 axes of movement (up/down, left/right, forward/back) and 3 axes of rotation (pitch, yaw, roll).
Me and one of my friends noticed a while ago that they added the Las Vegas sphere to the Vegas map, we could only see it in spectator mode and you have to be really high up, I think it’s in the foreground by the argon corner, the sphere shows the finals logo 👍
@@sarahmcmenomy7009 yes! I actually included it in a previous video, and because the Luxor Sky Beam was in this one decided to leave it out of this one.
The Pixel Pulse heart-shaped charm from the season 2 battle pass is filled with red according to your health. Left Stick Click on controller activates the CTRL key on the Key Command charm. I don't know if Z can be activated on controller. The joystick charm naturally also works on controller.
My head canon- Vegas isn't at the south pole. The finals Ai is, and it's never seen the sky from anywhere else, and thus can only generate sky's resembling that.
I found a way to get out of the map in firing range and if you start to fall off the map there you just fall for a long time and I expected there to be barriers but a some point i just respawned at the start
