Once I'm through with my display, I will let you know what I got, because as it has been going, I have got like 9/10 of the cards you mention, basically all apart from the expensive ones :D. The vid makes me feel much happier :)
Love the dark. It just came out when I started. And yes maze of ith was in the 1st pack of the dark I got. I think the 2nd pack had psychic allergy.
Theres just something about the color balance on the og Cryptic Gateway that I really like. Arboria is the one I shit my breeches when I saw the reprint as well.

I got a collector pack and pulled a foil yawgmoth and foil birds of paradise in the same pack. I was ecstatic.
Almost every card you listed was something I need for my commander collection or would like to potentially nab cheap for a friend that just got into the game. Hopefully you get to draft or crack a few packs on the channel or stream with some stories, that would be an interesting bit of commentary versus the usual “oh, a rare, oh, a mythic.”
PS I hope you are still taking good care of yourself the last few months, I know the community is a better place with you in it and I’m pretty sure most people want you to have more fun than stress about the game that keeps many friends in seats around kitchen tables later than some family dinners do. Take care of yourself and be kind to yourself to Dev.

This set seems kind of bonkers. I feel like Wizards is pulling out all the stops because they feel like they need a home run. I'm very happy with what I'm seeing, more stuff like this once a year wouldn't be bad.

I, too, Dig these retroframes. I've collected every non-foil thats out there.. Except Chalice of the Void because WHO BOY, thats not a card I'm paying real money for.

Arboria was an uncommon in Legends, but it was one of those cards that was on the "B" sheet so it is tough to find. It has been a sneaky play of mine in commander for a few years.
There are a lot of commander players in NW Indiana that are sick of this card LOL.

Edit: Thankfully I read the spoilers a few days ago, and it's almost like they went through my TCGPlayer buy history, picked the most expensive parts that they're still "allowed" to reprint, and decimated the price of my collection. Hahahaha. This product would be killer if I didn't already have every good (or bad!) card. Like, Legacy Weapon? In retro? Yeah, I have one of those, it's called Apocalypse. Looks like it'll be a blast to draft, though!

Any old beat up and played alpha and beta cards are worth getting
Spiritmonger shouldnt be an uncommon. Its still pretty powerful in a drafting environment, although it would suck opening it as your rare in one of these packs.

The quality of the color for the BRO commander decks is really bad unfortunately. It’s extremely dark and does not match all the other retro frames already made. The artwork on some of them when compared to a regular copy of the card, is so much darker that you can’t even make out certain details. Real shame.

I absolutely hate the old borders, from an artists point of view it's like old Microsoft paint gradients. Which these days my 10yr old daughter can design much better. While i appreciate art is subjective and it's cool that you love these, just putting it out there that i hate them :D Thanks for the vid.

Cards do not need to be lower in price, cant stand people crying cards are too much money, if they too much buy a proxy of it that simple, reprinting a card 4 times is dumb , i mean opening a box when all cards are worthless how is that fun and exciting. Stop reprints, 2 max is fine , instead of people crying about prices thats what cards are meant too be expensive , look at every card game lol
