Just finished a draft, made sure to watch this before going. Went with a grixis deck that went 5-2. All of my games were won on the back of horseshoe crap. Averaged 10 damage a game that it was played.

It is often a lot of fun playing with cards that look a little "underpowered" compared to modern sets (even though there are quite a few spells in this set that are way stronger than what we see today at those rarities). It leads to gameplay that is a bit slower and that emphasizes different gameplay elements and strategies.
I drafted a black white control deck. I drafted a copy of jalums tome and millikin so my white threshold was always live and 2 duress 1 pain and a Gerrard's way with a lyra dawnbringer voice of all and serra angel win con. I played a white green control deck round 1 which ended in a draw, and milled lyra in the second game of round 2 which cost me the round but I wrecked my opponent round 3. Voice of all destroyed the format at my locals

It is worth noting that Zombie Infestation is a great way to cash in extra lands and/or fuel madness. Did some serious work for me last night. #MasterofRemaster
Thanks for sharing your experience! I think Zombie Infestation can be a bit tricky to use, but it can definitely have some nice synergies in the right home.
Have you played a limited format with Congregate before? There's a reason it was upshifted from common to uncommon, because gaining ~20 life can swing a race situation or buy you multiple multiple turns of (effectively) fog. I'm not saying it's amazing, but it's not a F tier trap card either. Especially since this set looks slow with bad/underpowered creatures.

They are a great combo! I wanted to focus on the Commons that were within the same color though, as that will come up more frequently.

I feel like Crop Rotation is pretty good if you are going for Threshold
Putting yourself down a card just to put two cards into your graveyard is not strong enough in Limited. It is just better to play a card that has a real impact on the game.

But I got a question:
Is Ornithopter really that bad?
In an aura strategy you can enchant this and get a flying hitter.
And it's 0 CMC/MV after all.
Also if you manage to build a storm deck this adds up to your storm count for free.
Ornithopter really is that bad. There might be niche applications in a Storm deck where you use it to strategically boost Storm count, but I think even that is quite narrow. The reason I list it as a trap is because I play against folks who just put it into their deck because they think it is a free creature, but it really is considerably weaker than that because it is so low impact. Also, with regards to Auras, it is much better to just put Auras on creatures that are already playable. This leads to fewer situations of drawing the creature without the Aura and also makes it less awkward when you draw the Ornithopter without the Aura or you topdeck it in the midgame after already deploying your Auras. Hopefully this answers your question! I'm so glad you enjoyed the guide and have enjoyed my past guides!

This was so far the worst draft I’ve participated in. I’ll admit a lot of that was luck based, but I pulled nothing I could build a half decent deck around accept I got maze of ith and an icy manipulator. I placed semi low so I might just have not seen too many good builds, but the worst round I had was against an opponent with no mercy out and no way to beat me and my only damage source being a few goblins and spent 3-4 games just hoping one of us would win eventually . Overall the set has a lot of staples but I don’t feel like it is good to draft with.
