I think you’re talking about the Battery Pack of the Shimano Di2 Drivetrain. It’s electrical shifting technology instead of mechanically actuated derailleurs with cables. The di2 battery is inserted from the hole below the bottom bracket and then held in place by the two screws of the front derailleur hanger/bracket.
No thanks, sticking to my madone 6.9, rim brakes and non of this over engineered crap for example the stupid 1 piece bar and stem. Although i must say on a posotive note, i do like the colour scheme but not the handlebar tape.
