Calling EEAAO a best feature is not absurd, it's a one right! ❤ By the way, this, like Dan and Daniel treats a team is BEAUTIFUL. Respect for everyone - every single person, no matter what job he does - shows humanity, sensitivity and kindness. It shows the truth of the words "be kind" - thanks to this, I believe even more in the message of this film. Thank you, Daniels, for this beautiful testimony ❤❤❤🙏
The opening ceremony that Jamie mentioned @ 3:19, is a Chinese ritual, practiced In Hong Kong,(EEAAO is a homage to Hong Kong Cinema)Taiwan + the Mainland, right before filming. It is also known as "big luck" ceremony + launching ceremony. Ang Lee continue this tradition, even with his American films.
JL Curtis, with her long career, and multi faceted Hollywood connections, generously expound on Ky's career, is a demonstration of her industry insight. Often, the opinion of insiders such as JL can be overlooked as a biased perspective. But the history tells the entire picture.
EEAAO gets better and better with each viewing. It's damn close to a perfect movie/script. This doesn't mean it will be your favorite movie. I'm speaking technically. I feel terrible for the Daniels having to make their next movie after EEAAO. We'll find out if they got incredibly lucky or if they're for real.
Last week I watched "Swiss Army Man" Daniels feature debut, and although it's not the stuff of EEAAO it is super inventive, full of human emotion, it's off kilter, funny and dreamlike, but not in that self-indulgent way of some filmmakers. So I think maybe they'll just keep getting better!
Jamie Lee Curtis is such a great cheerleader for everybody in the film and giving credit to everybody. Although I was rooting for Stephanie Hsu to win the Oscar, I’m happy for Jamie
Daniels are the sweetest faces of Hollywood. May their spirit of kindness, collaboration, and inclusion spread everywhere.
Jamie Lee Curtis crying over Ke's win at the Gotham Awards made me all misty 😭

Ke’s journey with the profession is inspiring

Every one of Ke’s interviews made me cry!
EEAAO is not only the best movie of this year, but of ALL TIME!
