The Caudalie mask doesn't draw impurities out of your skin. What you see is literally the mask sitting inside your pore, it's not oil or dirt! James Welsh recently did a review of it and he wasn't impressed with it haha!
And I know someone else said already, but pores cannot physically open and close, visual trickery is used to make them appear reduced I.e. chemical exfoliation, makeup etc. Just FYIs, no hate! As a recent subscriber in the last couple of weeks I love your content on this and your other channel! ❤
Also, a mask pulling oil from your skin is not good. You're supposed to have oils in your skin so that your skin doesn't produce more oil to compensate and you end up with oily skin.
I tried this mask and returned right after ! It burned my skin and dried the crap out of it! I agree with James
this is exactly what I was thinking. It is interesting that so many people think your pores can open or close. I wish more people knew about this!
This! It’s all marketing. And if u pay close attention any real marketing will dance around with words like “appearance of pores” bc u can’t just open close shrink enlarge etc in ten mins!

😂 maybe I’m just old… but seeing the brows all brushed up and spikey like that looks crazy to me. I feel like I need to take some scissors and trim them all until there is a straight line across! Keep in mind, I grew up with the 90’s brows that were plucked in a tiny little pencil like line. 🤣 I absolutely love watching you and learning the new trends. You make it so fun and entertaining!!
I'm not old and I hate the 'fluffy' brows. I prefer to have them trimmed and brushed down and clean.
I feel the same way. I don't understand the fluffy brow trend.
I agree, anytime I see brows like that I feel like they look insane! I think that trend will disappear fast
I grew up in the 80’s when bushy eyebrows were “in” and I do not like this trend at all 😐
I was born in 99 and am not a fan of the soap (fluffy) brow.
That blush has me fan girling. I’m wearing that Armani fragrance today. A cheaper alternative is Sublime Epoque from Zara. It’s so good. $26 for 80ml. Dolce & Gabana has The Only One intense and that one is sooooo good and very similar. Wore that one yesterday. Love your videos and your personality. You are the perfect example of someone who is Instagram beautiful, but not plastic or fake. You are witty, funny and love sweats.
Just a small fyi pores don’t shrink or enlarge, it’s one of the myths skincare companies have made up
They can become larger if they are become clogged repeatedly.
i mean u can make them very temporarily smaller but it lasts such a short time its not relevant or worth it. but yes u cant actually shrink ur pores. but they do enlarge as u get older or when ur hot and sweaty

I love watching her makeup videos, mostly because I can’t wear it. I’ve tried since I was a teen and I gave up in my 20s. I’m 59 now. My skin is so sensitive that I can only have it on for 15 minutes max before I have to take it off, and some not even that long. It’s so fun trying this way! But I’m a bigger fan of her other channel, because those recipes are some things I can try. Love you too Rach, keep up the great work!

yes yes!! I was so happy you mentioned Clio and Peripera!! Literally two of my favourite brands and I can't stop talking about the pro eye palettes. The lip tints from peripera are a winner and I love their mascara too. Next, you should try Bbia lip tints and some 3CE eyeshadow! K beauty is slaying the game

What works a little better with the cream contour sticks is to run brush over product then work secontion by section versus drawing on all then trying to blend out

I was thinking believe beauty duo stick, the contour side, seems like a perfect dupe for that expensive So Soft multi face play contour stick. I love it, it’s so creamy and easy to blend over or under make up! It’s also this perfect neutral chocolate shade, not warm or cool, and I find it’s good with all looks! Have a good day 😊
I'm obsessed with the Patrick Ta lamination gel! You have to use the brush side to brush the hairs up until it starts to get a little tacky and then you use the flat backside of the brush to laminate the hairs onto the face!

all of the “sucking out” or “pore shrinking” stuff is just marketing hype.
A mask's ability to help clean your pores is not hype, that is legitimate.

@@lindseyyu1065 You are correct, the little dots are the sebum, but that doesn't change the fact that a clay based mask will help remove all of the impurities and dirt out of your pores. As somebody who uses them regularly in order to keep black heads at Bay I can tell you this for a fact. When I don't use them I notice a tremendous difference. I'm not naive, I realize that the mask doesn't go into your pores and cause them to shrink or any of that nonsense, but they definitely help to keep your pores clear of debris which could cause future breakouts.
LOL…I always ALWAYS put on my mascara first. It’s a game changer. I then put on foundation while the mascara dries. I clean off the huge mascara mess then do my eyeshadow with under eye concealer last.
I'd love to see the Glowish powder as a true foundation. I was shocked at the tiny size of the blush when I saw them in Sephora.

It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination is a BEAUTIFUL powder! I have oily skin but this just makes my skin look healthy! Excellent coverage, I apply it with the 2 sided ELF brush!!

So I got that caudalie mask sent to me and didn’t think it could be ask good as everyone was saying but holy cow I love it 😍 I legitimately see a difference in my skin after using it
Have you tried The Gel by The BrowGal Tonya Brooks? It's a clear gel for your brows and I find it holds really well for a full day. For some color, I use the Pixie brow pallete and then gel on top. Highly recommend 👌

I thought the luminous powder looked good, except it took your bronzer and blush off. Definitely want to try the eye shadow and lip inks.
So how'd you get the brow gel to work? My idea was to maybe fill them in and style them before you use it as like a top coat or even put the product on a better spoolie all together.
I live in the tropics, gotta try stick my beauty sponge in the fridge, maybe it’ll help me stay cool while i do my make up 😄

Have you ever heard of Gelliglass? They look super cool! It’s like a press on gel manicure but you don’t stick it on you press it on with jelly.
The em comestics so soft bronzer and blushes are so pigmented you don’t need a lot and it will last forever

Literally everyone I’ve seen use that powder looked horrible but you’re the only one who looks really good with it. I think cuz you actually dusted it on sheer while the others tried like baking their under eye just going really heavy

Could you do an entire video dedicated to Believe Beauty? I believe it's only in dollar general? But I've been using their concealer in color Biscuit and I LOVE, love, LOVE it! I haven't tried anything else from them, but I am curious. I don't use foundation.... I have a thing with the way things feel on my body.... lotion... foundation..... life🤦♀️😖😆 so I use concealer over in the normal areas you'd use concealer. Forehead, nose, under eyes, chin and then blend it all out and do contour/bronzer, ect... so I'd like to hear how it all feels on the skin! Love youuuuuuuuuuuuuu❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I will let my beauty blender and put it in the freezer. And then run some warm water over in the morning to just defrost the outside of it so it’s soft and then use that on my face to apply my make up and it feels so good!

Could you do a full face of "clean" makeup brand products? I recently started having allergic reactions to my makeup and have to switch to clean brands and I'm completely lost 😭 I've found a mineral based mascara I enjoy but I've had to throw out all my old concealer, foundation, eyeliner, lippies... I'm starting over and feel like a newbie again!
Did you try Mineral Fusion? It’s the only one that works for me!! 💕

Right?! But they last a LONG time. I love their concealer duo (in neutral), their blush (in flashy tape-a-l’oeil), and their blonzer duo (which I use during spring and summer). I use the concealer and blush almost every day and the concealer lasts like 8-10 months for me, so it’s so worth the price for me. The blonzer lasts me over a year because I like to use it in the warmer months for that sun kissed look, and the regular blush I’ve had for a couple years now and I only just started panning, lol. It seems that since you only need a little at a time they last for a long while.
I love their mascara and eyeliner too but since I’m a mom of two little ones I rub my eyes in fatigue wayyy to much to use any eye products daily, haha. Love them for when I want to dress up a little, though!

Also I’m a big fan of the Badger lip products. I use the plain unscented lip balm as a moisturizing base and then apply their mineral lip tint (Rose & Vanilla in the shade Garnet) on top. It looks super natural, lasts a few hours but it’s easy to reapply, and most importantly it doesn’t destroy my skin! 🥰
