Yes!!! I've always felt like everyone raves about FoB so much to the point that it was unbelievable and I just wanted someone to tell me honestly if there was any downsides to the products.

It's weird that a company selling expensive hair products did not test this. I am kind of glad I didn't order the shampoo and at least stuck to my budget this time. Hope your hair gets better, soon!
I wanted to try it cuz I have so much dry scalp from medication and diabetes. My hair is already falling out due to that and i wondered if it was a good idea to invest in something that would hydrate my skin and hair. That's odd that a cosmetics company that's so expensive and implies that it has no harsh dyes or chemicals and would cause something like that and not recall their products and change the formula especially after so many bad reviews of the same thing happening. I'm glad I can't afford it now then lol back to my good old trustworthy head and shoulders
You made me buy the ember mug, and all I can say is thank you!!!!!!!!!! I have a 4 year old, 3 year old and a 4 month old so my coffee WAS always cold. I drink an amazing Italian coffee, but it’s definitely not meant to be drunk cold. It never tasted as good reheated in the microwave and I would maybe get one or two good sips, but now all my sips are good. If anyone is considering it, just do it

My daughter has 3C hair and her curl pattern and frizz were just so messed up. As soon as I stopped buying function of beauty her curl pattern fixed itself and now her hair is back to perfect.

I'm currently using my function of beauty shampoo as a toilet cleaner. Could only use about one third of the small bottle as a shampoo before my scalp went crazy.
I haven’t tried FOB, but I did try Prose, which is a different similar thing where you take a quiz and they customize your shampoo and conditioner. It was awful. After the first couple/three washes my hair became like straw. So dry, looked horrible and SO much breakage.
One of the things I love about Rachel’s Chanel’s, she just like us , thing fall, spill , tip over or just don’t work , her vanity has lots of products on it , the editing doesn’t cut these things out ❤️❤️
I would LOVE to see your workouts if you start recording those! I am also trying to get into a healthier exercise routine so seeing you do it may motivate me to do more too! :) Do what you gotta do! Totally understand if exercise videos are outside of your comfort zone or cross a boundary that you didn't know existed.

It's a lot cheaper option than the Ember, but I got a mug warmer for my desk and it is EVERYTHING! I can use whatever coffee mug I want (ceramic) and choose the temperature setting and my coffee or tea stays warm ☺ ☕ I can be a slow sipper, especially if I get caught up in doing something. This thing has definitely improved my work from home experience!

Thank you for talking about function of beauty! I loved it when I started using it but the same thing happened. I had to go through a whole process of getting my hair back to what it was before I started using it. It finally after almost a year is back to a good place but it was stressful.
I use the Hyperchiller from Amazon almost everyday! I solely drink iced coffee and you just pour your hot coffee into the Hyperchiller and it cools it down in a minute or 2. It's just basically an Ice-block- cup that you keep in your freezer! Highly recommend!
I'm glad she mentioned function of beauty cause i was thinking about buying that since i stopped using OGX products. My hair thinned out, kept breaking, and i had soooo much hair loss everytime i washed my hair, it was ridiculous. Once i stopped using it, i had the original normal few hairs fall out when i wash my hair. So I'm trying to renew my hair. If anyone has any recommendations on products, shampoo, conditioner, masks ect to help me get my hair back, I'd really appreciate it. I miss my thick curly hair!!! Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure if this is available in the states, I believe it's a Canadian brand, but I love AG haircare products. They are a salon brand and have all sorts of different categories for different hair types
I don't really stick to brands/systems. I just buy whatever, try it a couple times to see if it works with my routine then add it, if it does. I highly recommend castor oil to give yourself a scalp massage and apply to your hair. It really helps to thicken hair. Rosemary oil (also as a scalp massage) helps stimulate blood to the hair follicles (it kind of tingles, lol), which can help with sime minor bald spots if you have any! If you don't dye your hair and never see yourself dying your hair (though if you do end up changing your mind, ALWAYS tell your stylist because it's sometimes hard to lift vs regular hair colour) and you don't mind reddish hair colour (seems like you are a redhead in your profile picture), I highly suggest henna. You use it as a mask, leave it on for a couple hours then condition your hair afterwards with a moisturizing mask. You can do it at your discretion. I suggest either once a month or every 2 weeks, but less is perfectly fine. I've been doing it for a year now and my hair has thickened and lengthed *considerably*. Make sure you get 100% natural henna. I would never suggest getting a product that claims it's a mix to get you a certain colour since some of them on the market have chemicals that WILL react with bleach if you ever do decide to colour your hair. It's easy to maintain and over time, your hair gets a rich red colour or tint depending on your starting shade, and the henna particles build on top of each other overtime, so your hair feels thicker and stronger.
The it's a 10 silk line is amazing! Brought my hair back to life a more affordable option is Marc anthony grow long...that's really good too...I alternate between them

Like I understand it doesn't happen to everyone so maybe they had a good experience personally, but the hair thinning and hair loss is such a problem that even Function of Beauty themselves are aware of it - when I canceled my subscription one of the prewritten reasons to select was something along the lines of 'hair thinning, hair loss, and/or itchy irritated scalp', all of which I had.
My husband and I bought Ember mugs after I showed him your review of it and we are in love!! I absolutely love finally being able to drink a whole cup of hot coffee while taking care of my kids.

The halara dress! I ordered it after seeing your video and I’m in love. I’ve worn it so many times already. It’s perfect for something to just throw on that’s comfy, practical, and looks cute. Fully obsessed. Don’t listen to their size chart, by the way, go by the sizing you normally order. Their chart said I was an XS but I got a small, which is my normal size, and it fits perfectly.
Reporting back! I bought the Falscara, the hair ties, and the comfort colors t-shirt because of this video. I LOVE the hair ties, they've replaced all my other elastics and I ordered two more colors of the t-shirt because I've been wearing it non-stop and need more! Yessss Falscara is freaking AMAZING like life changing! I recommend it to everyone who doesn’t like wearing regular false lashes (like me! I hate wearing regular strip lashes 😫). These are so natural looking and you can’t even feel them when you are wearing them. They stayed on my eyes for 3 days once before I finally removed them and that’s with washing my face twice a day and they stayed put until I used the Kiss Falscara lash remover. It works great and they slide right off with that remover.
I got the same exact massager for my construction workin husband. He loves it. I’m always walking in on him in the bedroom just, head dropped, drooling, passed out in bliss from his neck massage 😂 maybe not drooling EVERY time 😂
I had the same issue with the Function of Beauty shampoo & conditioner. I normally don't have hair fallout and if I do it's maybe like a strand or two--totally normal. This was like chunks. I was hoping it wasn't the shampoo and conditioner because I loved the scent.
I've had several surgeries, so Bio Oil is my pal. They now make it without mineral oil, which is really nice! I used it on previous surgical sites and the scars are very light! Also a folding seat for my shower! Don't little old lady me, it's good for dumb little square showers without any side areas for feet! And a scrub daddy, swedish cloths, and Pink stuff, woooo!
Thank you so much for updating on the function of beauty hair products. Every video I’ve watched has been an initial first reaction and so many people sing their praises. Everyone says how much healthier and shiner their hair has gotten. I’m glad I waited to hear a long term review of their products because the last thing I need is more hair loss. If it’s causing hair loss that bad, it leads me to believe they aren’t using anything better than what herbal essences uses, because that stuff also makes people’s hair fall out really badly.
For me, Papier planners have been a lifesaver for 2021. There are a lot of good planners out there but so far the Papier one I own is what I always go back to.

You should try Viori shampoo bar and conditioner! I’ve used it for about a month and it incredible. I’ve been doing hair for 15 years and never loved a shampoo and conditioner more!
With function of beauty, I've noticed something. The ONLY product that causes hair loss is the shampoo and conditioner. I personally use the leave in conditioner for my hair. I've been using it for almost 4 months and no hair loss. So I'm thinking its just what they put in their shampoo and conditioner. I've never seen hair loss mentioned in other products
I found incorrectly sized comfort colors at my local dollar tree… they were quite large and tank tops but I’m going to tie dye them and resize by cutting the back and tying it 😁 can’t beat $1 comfort colors!

I had two things recommended to me off of facebook ads that i bought, Kizik sneakers and Knix leak proof underwear. The shoes fit like full sneakers but you can get them on without any bending, twisting or pulling, your foot just pops right into them, they're pretty cool. The Knix are .. my new best friend, as a woman of a certain age who has birthed two humans leaks happen and these are not just for periods. Almost nothing gets through these things and I wish i bought double the pairs I did. They wash and wear just like normal underwear, no pads/ liners no muss and fuss.
I was wondering about those for the exact reason, I birthed 3 humans and also leak sometimes. As I no longer have periods I wondered if they worked for leakage. Thank you so much for letting us know!!!!!
Hmm, I may have to see if the Knix come in plus sizes. I too have birthed two humans that are now adults and am now of a certain age. About the Kiziks…how do they run width wise? I have wide feet and I’ve looked longingly at their ads, but I fear they’d be too narrow. I’m about a C to D width, depending on the brand. Alegrias are my favorites right now because they are wide enough for my feet. My favorite thrown on sandals are my Birks.
@@ItsJustLisa Hi lisa, I am plus size, i wear about a size 22 women's plus and the knix XXL fit me like a glove. They go up to a XXXL that I know of. Leakproofing aside they're also some of the most comfortable panties i own, they don't ride up or bunch on me. As to the Kiziks, i ordered their wide EE in my size and I think i have EEE feet, they also fit very comfortably. I hope this information helps!

Same. I've been using for maybe two years, and haven't had any issues with it. I have really hard water, use a filter and it my hair was still "rough". But with fob it seems to help. 🤷🏼♀️

My most used purchase of 2021 is my Stanley trigger mug, it was one of those “you’re going to think this is stupid, but in a week you’ll be obsessed” I use it everyday for my coffee and it keeps my coffee hot for a few hours and then comfortably warm after that, and it takes me a long time to finish my coffee. Like my husband will give me coffee at 8 am and it takes me til 4 to finish it.
Yeti ramblers are AMAZING!! Their coffee cups keep my coffee hot for hours and their ramblers… so good! I put ice in my cup first thing in the morning and it’s still there the next morning. And I live in Georgia (Go Dawgs) so it’s very hot and humid here so the ice not melting is very impressive to me.
I've been using function of beauty for over a year and it stopped my hair from falling out and has made it stronger. It depends on person everyone has different experiences with it. I will still continue to use it

Several people have had similar experiences with function of beauty. I stopped buying it for my daughter for the very same reason. And once she stopped using it, her curls are bouncier and healthier looking. Her curl pattern is back to perfect.
I’m here for watching you work out!! If you’d like I’d definitely recommend Lilly sabri over here on TH-cam if you’re new to fitness. She puts in modifications and talks you though the workout plus she uses great music. Her short videos are finishers while her longer ones like 15 min -1 hour are the “real classes”

I’m glad you added to your Function of Beauty review. I loved my name on the bottle, fun to control the scent and my hair looked good at first. However it was temporary. My hair looked dull after a few uses. Then it began to get split ends like never before . No more Function of Beauty 😠
Ok I have just about every pillow ever made. But I ordered a water pillow it’s half water ( bottom half) and the top is stuffing. It’s on Amazon Blissberry is the name of it. I have two fused discs and a plate in my neck. The water is a game changer. Because you never end up with anything hard on your neck. I’m actually sleeping through the night! 100% the best thing I bought this year.
I absolutely live my steel hidrate spark. It keeps my water ice cold all day and even regular cold for multiple days. It also helps me keep track of how much water I'm actually drinking and will remind me to drink as well since I tend to get so caught up in work
Once I started wearing comfort color t-shirts I refuse to wear anything else. I need to retire my college ones and rock a plain one with necklace like you are it looks so cute!

When my girls were little I got tired of coming back to cold coffee so I kept it in a thermos and it was perfect. Plus it was always ready when I had to run out of the house.

Loved this! I experienced the same hairloss but not due to a pregnancy (i am 53 😉) but because of function of beauty. I started to novice a lot of hair in the shower after i washed my hair. Even my husband noticed it ( sometimes i forget to take it out). I threw my bottles out. I have been using it since march of this year.
Just a note about the hair ties. I've been using that kind (not that brand) for years and you can find them at dollar stores and most beauty supply stores. Save yourself some money :)
Not sure if you've ever tried it, but the men's gel unscented Mitchum is a really good antiperspirant. I have tried a lot of different brands, but I keep going back to that one. It's unscented, but I think it has a faint clean smell. If you ever want to try a good one, I highly recommend that one. ❤
I also had great results at first with Function of Beauty and then my hair started coming out as well. I have very thick hair and thankfully it didn't leave me too affected, but my hair was coming out by the handful in the shower. Thank you for your input on this, because I was thinking that I was just losing due to hormones or something and now I am gonna stop using it, cancel membership and switch brands. My icekap migraine hat 😍 omg so good. Also my kitsch microfibre towel wrap, and the microfibre pillow cover!! Also the microfibre headband wrap thing, I use it when I do my skincare or makeup and sleep with the silk version on at night to keep my hair out of my face
Fully supportive of the workout videos, maybe even trying different classes/programs. :) I don't use many products but I have a circle nightstand light that is also a phone charger. The phone charger is ok in emergencies but warms up the phone, BUT the light circle is great, I barely have to touch the circle and the light is on. No searching for buttons etc. I bought a cheap version of that light, maybe a more expensive version will have a better charger.
Ooooh I'm pleased you said that about the Il makiage. Like I had been pretty much 90% convinced by the advertising but was a bit like IT CAN'T BE THAT GOOD... also I can't remember who said it but I remember someone else saying it was not all that

I use the Hyperchiller from Amazon almost everyday! I solely drink iced coffee and you just pour your hot coffee into the Hyperchiller and it cools it down in a minute or 2. It's just basically an Ice-block- cup that you keep in your freezer! Highly recommend!

I'm glad she mentioned function of beauty cause i was thinking about buying that since i stopped using OGX products. My hair thinned out, kept breaking, and i had soooo much hair loss everytime i washed my hair, it was ridiculous. Once i stopped using it, i had the original normal few hairs fall out when i wash my hair. So I'm trying to renew my hair. If anyone has any recommendations on products, shampoo, conditioner, masks ect to help me get my hair back, I'd really appreciate it. I miss my thick curly hair!!! Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure if this is available in the states, I believe it's a Canadian brand, but I love AG haircare products. They are a salon brand and have all sorts of different categories for different hair types
I don't really stick to brands/systems. I just buy whatever, try it a couple times to see if it works with my routine then add it, if it does. I highly recommend castor oil to give yourself a scalp massage and apply to your hair. It really helps to thicken hair. Rosemary oil (also as a scalp massage) helps stimulate blood to the hair follicles (it kind of tingles, lol), which can help with sime minor bald spots if you have any!
If you don't dye your hair and never see yourself dying your hair (though if you do end up changing your mind, ALWAYS tell your stylist because it's sometimes hard to lift vs regular hair colour) and you don't mind reddish hair colour (seems like you are a redhead in your profile picture), I highly suggest henna. You use it as a mask, leave it on for a couple hours then condition your hair afterwards with a moisturizing mask. You can do it at your discretion. I suggest either once a month or every 2 weeks, but less is perfectly fine. I've been doing it for a year now and my hair has thickened and lengthed *considerably*.
Make sure you get 100% natural henna. I would never suggest getting a product that claims it's a mix to get you a certain colour since some of them on the market have chemicals that WILL react with bleach if you ever do decide to colour your hair. It's easy to maintain and over time, your hair gets a rich red colour or tint depending on your starting shade, and the henna particles build on top of each other overtime, so your hair feels thicker and stronger.
The it's a 10 silk line is amazing! Brought my hair back to life a more affordable option is Marc anthony grow long...that's really good too...I alternate between them
I personally love Hask products, especially the Keratin conditioner.

THANK YOU for mentioning the hair loss issue with function of beauty! It makes me so sad whenever I see youtubers that I like still promoting those products. Like I understand it doesn't happen to everyone so maybe they had a good experience personally, but the hair thinning and hair loss is such a problem that even Function of Beauty themselves are aware of it - when I canceled my subscription one of the prewritten reasons to select was something along the lines of 'hair thinning, hair loss, and/or itchy irritated scalp', all of which I had.
It’s not a new product, but I got a Roomba this year and it has changed my life. That’s not an understatement!

The halara dress! I ordered it after seeing your video and I’m in love. I’ve worn it so many times already. It’s perfect for something to just throw on that’s comfy, practical, and looks cute. Fully obsessed. Don’t listen to their size chart, by the way, go by the sizing you normally order. Their chart said I was an XS but I got a small, which is my normal size, and it fits perfectly.

Yessss Falscara is freaking AMAZING like life changing! I recommend it to everyone who doesn’t like wearing regular false lashes (like me! I hate wearing regular strip lashes 😫). These are so natural looking and you can’t even feel them when you are wearing them. They stayed on my eyes for 3 days once before I finally removed them and that’s with washing my face twice a day and they stayed put until I used the Kiss Falscara lash remover. It works great and they slide right off with that remover.
I got the same exact massager for my construction workin husband. He loves it. I’m always walking in on him in the bedroom just, head dropped, drooling, passed out in bliss from his neck massage 😂 maybe not drooling EVERY time 😂
I had the same issue with the Function of Beauty shampoo & conditioner. I normally don't have hair fallout and if I do it's maybe like a strand or two--totally normal. This was like chunks. I was hoping it wasn't the shampoo and conditioner because I loved the scent.
I've had several surgeries, so Bio Oil is my pal. They now make it without mineral oil, which is really nice! I used it on previous surgical sites and the scars are very light!
Also a folding seat for my shower! Don't little old lady me, it's good for dumb little square showers without any side areas for feet! And a scrub daddy, swedish cloths, and Pink stuff, woooo!
Thank you so much for updating on the function of beauty hair products. Every video I’ve watched has been an initial first reaction and so many people sing their praises. Everyone says how much healthier and shiner their hair has gotten. I’m glad I waited to hear a long term review of their products because the last thing I need is more hair loss. If it’s causing hair loss that bad, it leads me to believe they aren’t using anything better than what herbal essences uses, because that stuff also makes people’s hair fall out really badly.
I’ve tried doing the bleach tie dye thing on some of my comfort color tees and have found they are bleach resistant!
One of my favorites is the Kind Friend Journal! It tracks your habits, your moods and has a todo list!
You can also find that same material hair ties at dollar tree.
For me, Papier planners have been a lifesaver for 2021. There are a lot of good planners out there but so far the Papier one I own is what I always go back to.

You should try Viori shampoo bar and conditioner! I’ve used it for about a month and it incredible. I’ve been doing hair for 15 years and never loved a shampoo and conditioner more!
With function of beauty, I've noticed something. The ONLY product that causes hair loss is the shampoo and conditioner. I personally use the leave in conditioner for my hair. I've been using it for almost 4 months and no hair loss. So I'm thinking its just what they put in their shampoo and conditioner. I've never seen hair loss mentioned in other products

I found incorrectly sized comfort colors at my local dollar tree… they were quite large and tank tops but I’m going to tie dye them and resize by cutting the back and tying it 😁 can’t beat $1 comfort colors!

I had two things recommended to me off of facebook ads that i bought, Kizik sneakers and Knix leak proof underwear. The shoes fit like full sneakers but you can get them on without any bending, twisting or pulling, your foot just pops right into them, they're pretty cool. The Knix are .. my new best friend, as a woman of a certain age who has birthed two humans leaks happen and these are not just for periods. Almost nothing gets through these things and I wish i bought double the pairs I did. They wash and wear just like normal underwear, no pads/ liners no muss and fuss.
I was wondering about those for the exact reason, I birthed 3 humans and also leak sometimes. As I no longer have periods I wondered if they worked for leakage. Thank you so much for letting us know!!!!!
Hmm, I may have to see if the Knix come in plus sizes. I too have birthed two humans that are now adults and am now of a certain age. About the Kiziks…how do they run width wise? I have wide feet and I’ve looked longingly at their ads, but I fear they’d be too narrow. I’m about a C to D width, depending on the brand. Alegrias are my favorites right now because they are wide enough for my feet. My favorite thrown on sandals are my Birks.
@@ItsJustLisa Hi lisa, I am plus size, i wear about a size 22 women's plus and the knix XXL fit me like a glove. They go up to a XXXL that I know of. Leakproofing aside they're also some of the most comfortable panties i own, they don't ride up or bunch on me. As to the Kiziks, i ordered their wide EE in my size and I think i have EEE feet, they also fit very comfortably. I hope this information helps!

My most used purchase of 2021 is my Stanley trigger mug, it was one of those “you’re going to think this is stupid, but in a week you’ll be obsessed” I use it everyday for my coffee and it keeps my coffee hot for a few hours and then comfortably warm after that, and it takes me a long time to finish my coffee. Like my husband will give me coffee at 8 am and it takes me til 4 to finish it.
Yeti ramblers are AMAZING!! Their coffee cups keep my coffee hot for hours and their ramblers… so good! I put ice in my cup first thing in the morning and it’s still there the next morning. And I live in Georgia (Go Dawgs) so it’s very hot and humid here so the ice not melting is very impressive to me.

You should try Flutterhabbit lashes!! Same idea as the Falscara but they last for 3-5 days. Six different styles to choose from and super affordable.
Several people have had similar experiences with function of beauty. I stopped buying it for my daughter for the very same reason. And once she stopped using it, her curls are bouncier and healthier looking. Her curl pattern is back to perfect.
One of the best things I have bought this year is the David's Tea Tea Steeper. I have been making cold teas with it almost everyday since I bought it!

She puts in modifications and talks you though the workout plus she uses great music. Her short videos are finishers while her longer ones like 15 min -1 hour are the “real classes”

I’m glad you added to your Function of Beauty review. I loved my name on the bottle, fun to control the scent and my hair looked good at first. However it was temporary. My hair looked dull after a few uses. Then it began to get split ends like never before . No more Function of Beauty 😠
Ok I have just about every pillow ever made. But I ordered a water pillow it’s half water ( bottom half) and the top is stuffing. It’s on Amazon Blissberry is the name of it. I have two fused discs and a plate in my neck. The water is a game changer. Because you never end up with anything hard on your neck. I’m actually sleeping through the night! 100% the best thing I bought this year.

I absolutely live my steel hidrate spark. It keeps my water ice cold all day and even regular cold for multiple days. It also helps me keep track of how much water I'm actually drinking and will remind me to drink as well since I tend to get so caught up in work

Loved this! I experienced the same hairloss but not due to a pregnancy (i am 53 😉) but because of function of beauty. I started to novice a lot of hair in the shower after i washed my hair. Even my husband noticed it ( sometimes i forget to take it out). I threw my bottles out. I have been using it since march of this year.

Not sure if you've ever tried it, but the men's gel unscented Mitchum is a really good antiperspirant.
I have tried a lot of different brands, but I keep going back to that one. It's unscented, but I think it has a faint clean smell.
If you ever want to try a good one, I highly recommend that one.

I have the same massager and love it. I tend to get knots in my shoulders and neck a lot and this helps so much.
I also had great results at first with Function of Beauty and then my hair started coming out as well. I have very thick hair and thankfully it didn't leave me too affected, but my hair was coming out by the handful in the shower. Thank you for your input on this, because I was thinking that I was just losing due to hormones or something and now I am gonna stop using it, cancel membership and switch brands. I don't use many products but I have a circle nightstand light that is also a phone charger. The phone charger is ok in emergencies but warms up the phone, BUT the light circle is great, I barely have to touch the circle and the light is on. No searching for buttons etc.
I bought a cheap version of that light, maybe a more expensive version will have a better charger.
