Motogp has standardized rules and no Any sort of forced air input is not allowed in MotoGP. These engines are 1000cc, L4(in case of the ducati's) and ate naturally aspirated. They produce nearly 300 horsepower without a turbo or a supercharger. Get your mind around that!
@J juuuice58 Pneumatic Valves use compressed air to open and close the valves. Desmodromic valves open and close using a mechanical system which can operate at higher RPMs and has lesser energy loss. Desmo system uses lobes on the camshaft to open and close the valves. There is no valve float either. Desmo valves has been a round for a long time but only Ducati have mastered the art of making engines with it in the motorcycle industry.
