Overpowered and underpowered. Overpowered because the dude can literally defeat almost anyone because of his phasing ability, and is massively faster than the speed of light. Underpowered because…plot.
If he goes faster than the speed of light he dies, and then the Justice league or Team Flash has to save his butt from the speed force. He's died like 20 times that way.
It;s like with Superman- Mighty Plot exist to cripple him as much as possible
CW Flash is 80 times slower than light speed in his current speed but if you're talking about the comics version, then yeah.

In 6x02 ultraviolet had ultraviolet rays that were 80 times faster then barry. In 6x03 barry didnt even know that ramero was a meta zombie when he cuffed him the first time. And the next time he easily beat him
Cosmic Master how the hell can Godspeed get his ass kicked by flash if Godspeed steals speed and IS way faster than flash and there kinda misusing his character in the series

Nooby Pig yeah I kinda think that's how it is. In the comics at least Barry has to choose to speed his mind up. It doesn't constantly work at an accelerated speed. Plus if it really worked like that they would age at that rate too. Kinda like Bart Allen did
In the TV show he's UNDERPOWERED, extremely. Last episode he spent an entire minute CHASING AFTER A VAN! The van was literally going faster than him, the episode before that, he had a chase scene with a guy on a motorcycle! They are so inconsistent with his speed it's crazy, and he's nowhere near where he is in the comics.

I disagree. They are ALWAYS inconsistent with his speed. One moment he is saving a building full of people that is collapsing in less than a second and in the next he gets punched or trapped by a villain that moves at relatively average speed. I have seen him get punches from darkseid and doomsday when he should be running circles around them easily.

This is one of the reasons I can't watch that show. The flash has so many potential ways to beat his oponents and they keep repeating bs.
He can just go buy and eat 850 tacos, find the villain, drop his tights, let loose a torrent of explosive diarrhea and do his buisness in more ways than one.

So let me go over things Barry can do, 1. Infinite mass punch, 2. Time Travel, 3. Throw people into the speed force ( where they'e stuck for ever), 4. Throw Lightning, 5.Kill people instantly by fazing his hand right through their chest, 6, and finally he's able to faze through any solid objects. (And I see how Davis said he has a ''sad life'' due to the power of speed, but he really doesn't, Barry gains these abilities by generating the speed force (which he could do whenever he wants) and when he doesn't generate it, he doesn't have access to these abilities, meaning he actually could have a normal life, and have access to his powers when in need.

not forget: he could generate tornados, generate infinite energy by just vibrating, basically survive to any non-fatal injury and heal in seconds (and even some fatal) and run over water, meaning that he can get anywhere he wants when he wants. ... he is one of the most powerful characters in DC.
Now someone who is invisible can kill him at will unless the speedforce detects movement which I know it can. Since the force allows him too move and think fast then that means his hearing can accelerate as well.

There is no mention of Barry in that universe and that version of Wally also worked for the CCPD and had his powers given to him exactly like Barry. The only reason they named him Wally was because the comic version of him was popular in the 90s, even though that Wally West was Iris's cousin, the former Kid Flash, and a millionaire.

That makes... no sense whatsoever since, logically, if everyone else in the same universe is just as overpowered, then most characters would not be overpowered because they'd have people who can challenge their might, as is the case in DC. Also, Thor, Silver Surfer, Hulk, Iron Man, and characters who scale from them (like Thanos. Seriously, without Surfer to scale from, Thanos wouldn't be half shit like he is whenever he's involved). For fuck's sake, I am literally the kind of guy who wishes Superman in Post-Crises or even Pre-Crises had the stats and feats to take on things I see people at comicvine and spacebattles put him up against, and even compared to 616 Marvel, you'd be hard pressed to say any Superman, even Pre-Crises, could get very far in the DC or Marvel cosmic landscape in a gauntlet style matchup before a power greater than him, even at the lowest of the tier directly above him, shitstomps and backs his fudge in, hard. Not even Pre-Crises Superman with the Sword of Superman or Thought Robot Superman would go all the way before that happened to them, though they'd be the closest aside from maybe a Fifth Dimensional Imp version of Superman from somewhere in the multiverse.

Scale Darksied to anyone in Marvel and he'd literally be a Franklin Richards level of Villain since he exists in all realities at once and none at the same time. thats exactly what I was thinking ever since season 1 ended because at that point he was so fast nothing but another speedster could challenge him and the way they stretch out every sinario peace of character drama was ridiculous. i may of liked the first season but after that point it make less and less sense and they milking everything
You know that flash just reacts in less than an atto second right? He doesn't actually perceive time slower than normal unless he wants to. All those times in the comics and the show where speedsters lost their speed, they didn't know they lost it until they tried to use their speed again. I'm pretty sure that they would realize that the world is suddenly going faster than before. And (this just applies to all time travelers in general) if you go back in time and change something, you can't change what you initially wanted to change when you went back in time because the reason why you went back in time is erased which means that you don't go back in time. That was kind of confusing so let me give you an example. Say that you forgot your keys at the house. So you go back in time and tell yourself not to forget the keys. But the version of you that went back in time is now being erased because now you have your keys and you have no reason to go back in time. However, if you change somthing that you initially didn't want to change when you went back, but didn't change the thing you went back in time for, the. You would be fine when you went back to the future because you still have a reason to go back. Get your facts straight before you make a video bro
I agree now one they didnt bring up is that the reason for Flashes downfall of time travel is Professor not Zoom which is Hunter Zolomon. But Edward Thawne that guy eats up the Speedforce like a human galactus and does more damage than Flash. He's more overrated but his powers make since because it Reacts to any Speedster in the Present moment where he can go back in time at will. Now Zoom Zolomon makes no since to an extinct a device he uses gives him the ability to be faster than wally himself who's faster than Barry Allen. Zolomons Zoom uses time manipulation by slowing the universe at will so he can teleport through seconds by jogging.

No, when the flash time travels he has consequences that can directly effect himself or the entire universe like when he saves his mum he starts to loss his powers after awhile and also creates a huge war between Aquaman and Wonderwoman. But when reverse flash time travels he can change anything without any consequences because of his connection to the negative speed force except for actually killing Barry because that would remove him from existence idk how that works don’t ask. So technically RF is more powerful than The Flash.

My guess is that Wally had been the Flash for as long as Barry. In the alternate timeline he creates, Wally becomes Flash at the same time when Barry in the original, so it makes sense that he is as fast or even faster than Barry

Lovely and entertaining video. But, because the comic book nerd inside me can't control himself, I just want to point out a couple things.
Yes, The Flash is incredibly overpowered, especially if we're talking about Wally, but I wouldn't say he's more powerful than Superman. Yes, Supes is slower, but he's still fast. He once flew from one edge of the universe to the other. He can also think fast, and his strength far surpasses any iteration of The Flash. Not even mentioning his plethora of other abilities, and the fact that if he just turned off his morals, he could literally become the most powerful character in comic books, save for The One Above All and other such characters. The Flash is still faster than him, but Supes is better all around. I'm not saying Supes would "definitely" win in a fight against Flash, because that is a very debatable topic.

+MinniMaster Supes shouldn't be able to do the IMP. He did it and survived because of plot armor, which is the most annoying thing about him. Without the speed force protecting him he should break up into atoms accelerating that fast. Because based on other forces that have broken his skin and caused him to bleed while fully powered, he shouldn't be durable enough to pull it off. He also shouldn't be able to withstand being hit by the IMP, just based on physics, but again... plot armor.

Infinite can be procedrial. The universe is infinitly big because it is ever expanding, meaning the book would of had an obsceanly large but still measurable number of pages with one being added every second, or hour, or day while still being classed as infinite as pages will never stop being added to it. Superman also never achieved the book feat on his own because another hero who I think was shazam maybe someone else helped him lift the book. Some say that both characters have infinite strength because of this feat but they where both splitting the weight of a very, very large book with pages being added to it even as they are lifting it. The feat is still incredibly impressive but it's not quite being infinitly strong, because why would it take 2 to lift it. Superman even says to Shazam that the book has their multiverse growing inside of it.
