Do your thresholds outside! The treadmill is death even when you feel good and not injured! Just go back and forth on a road or bike path.
Unfortunately I train alone so if I were to do a workout outdoors it would more than likely be on a track, but in this case the wind was to strong to properly do a workout on the track which is why I did it on the treadmill. Fortunately I don't mind treadmill workouts, it's something I've gotten rather comfortable with over the years and I think it gives you a mental edge if you can handle it!

Another great video man! I am in week 2 of my training and I know about starting up from not much structure again. I am wondering how much do you weigh these days? I am 5"11 170 and wondering if I need to lose a little
Thank you! I think I'm around 145lbs at the moment but not entirely sure, I stopped checking if I'm being honest. Losing weight may help, but theres many people who weigh 170 or more who are faster than I am, I would recommend doing whatever you're comfortable with. Losing weight may help, but if it's a struggle and takes a toll on your mentality then maybe it's best to just focus on training instead. When it comes to running, things like that are very person to person, gotta do what you think is best for you!
