Im doing a half marathon on Sunday after a year of cancer treatment. It will feel like 250k to me for sure. Thank you for understanding and valuing that all our journeys are all different. Congratulations you are amazing.

I'm now binging these videos for motivation after a big surgery. First jog on Monday was 2km and took 20 minutes.

Wow. Don’t think words do justice to just how inspiring this was to watch. I’m 5 weeks out from my first marathon and battling being sore everywhere, taking time off running and swapping it for different forms of cross training. Watching this has really focussed me on the end goal - not to let my head dip.
Within the first few minutes I was blown away by your mindset:
My 250k is someone else’s 5k.
And the fear leading into that, although objectively is different, for the individual is compatible.
What a true inspiration you are - and what a team you have around you. Truly amazing to see a group of men throwing logs on each others fires rather than water on them.

Just sat and watched the whole video. I'm in complete admiration as someone who has cycled 100mile distances plus and found that hard considering i was on two wheels. To run/walk that distance especially over such undulating terrain, you must have been in bits. Very well done. Inspiring.
My favourite aspect is the level of dedication you all have to one another within the team - this was the culmination of what looked like 5/6 months of hard work from everyone to provide a platform to allow Fergus to do what he does best (suffer for growth). In awe and so proud to have seen the progression over the last 3/4 years.

What an incredible journey. Brought a tear to my eye, thinking of the adversity you need to overcome to push yourself this far. As you said, this may be someone else's 5k/10k or whatever their current perceived limit is, the challenge is relative. I was really looking forward to this and man, did it not disappoint! This is one of the best things I've seen here on the old TH-cam. From the awesome achievement of running for 50 hours straight to the camerawork, from the incredible supportgroup to the scenerey (during daytime :)) and from the inspiration to the lessons learned: all excellent. I hope that between filming this and now you and your team have had the chance to sit back, relax, recover, look back and be very, very, very proud of what you've achieved. Hats off!

thanks for the video. i was just at the doctor last week and got told that i had a minor recrack in the healing bone tissue on my fractured foot. i fractured both feet in the middle metatarsal in the same spot in the past four months. i ran the presque isle marathon last september. its been downhill since then. i have to rethink a lot of things but first get through the next few weeks of not being suppose to run beacuse of this left foot. i ran the last week even though i wasn’t suppose to. don’t know how my right foot healed in february because i did not stop any training.
i want to build endurance to do an iron man in the next few years. right now just being abke to race again at presque isle in september is the goal... people like you are helping a lot to learn how to do this right. it can be really lonely sometimes. i always train by myself so its helpful to watch videos like this because i know theres help out there.

I have my first 100km race on Saturday 27th April and I'm excited and nervous. The furthest I've gone before is 50k so it's unknown territory for me as well! To think you're completing 2.5 times that distance is unfathomable to me! Congratulations on your epic achievement 💪
