For me, George was one of the most important and brilliant artists of the 20th century. He managed almost effortlessly to touch people with his voice and his lyrics so that tears ran down them. So deep, so intense, so brilliant. I will forever miss this brilliant artist. His interpretation of "The Grave" made me understand for the first time what a mother must feel when her child goes to war. And so there is a close connection to almost every one of his songs. Thank you for this gift George.
