Great to see Kiarra back where she belongs and what a beautiful day to get her back to the mooring. Well done Tim and ya still a hoon!! speeding in Kiarra like that!! hahahaha I am looking forward to the next stage, I think you should go fishing
nice to see videos still coming, more than pleased to see you are ecstatic on your accomplishments over the past hectic 7 days. I'll let you have the afternoon off 😉😉, looking forward to seeing more content. 😎😎
Poseidon blessed you with the dolphins! 11kts woo hoo!!! Get a case of beer and share it with your fellow army. You all deserve it! When you hit 11 I was smiling ear to ear. I knew she could do it. Great job! God bless
All of your perseverance, planning, focus, and hard work have paid off. As you prioritize those projects you'd like to have completed in the future, please do ensure that you carve out time for family fun and enjoyment. (You produce engaging videos--- keep them coming)
It can be a tricky thing to get the balance of work V play. I am focusing on the head at the moment in order to make her better for overnight trips with the family.
The boat looks better, especially the bottom came out great.. and I see it made improvements to your top speed.... Good job... Time for a cocktail..🍸🍸🥂
Nice to see her in the water again. Just do your upgrades and further repairs at your own pace. Now she is water tight you can tame a bit more time and still enjoy it in between
@@twowheeledcruiser1385 still a need to get more topside work done as rain water still gets in from somewhere. Need to finish the head off then start using her before the good weather goes
Great results! she's watertight, she can break 10 knots and she's got new glass, paint and antifoul. So glad that you were able to get the Major things done that needed to happen and a couple extras. The rest can be later and when that happens you can actually make a plan as to what you want to do and then get stuff ready for it and have some extras ready just in case you get things done quickly. Now comes the part where you can actually do some interior work and finish the head and the other parts you have ideas about. and possibly some actual use of the old girl too? Thanks for sharing my dude, take care, and best of luck for you until we see you again!
I did feel very accomplished at the end of that trip. The fact she will do 10knts is a good bonus also. I still have a list as long as my arm that starts with the head. Thanks for the support mate
She looking and sounding great mate. Just from a long lost relative in the UK. My name is Andrew Fawcett-Harper. Cheers man, Keep up the grand work. Best wishes.
Great videos. I love Nelson Bay, spent a few days there on a house boat with my wife about 10 years ago whilst visiting our daughter in Sydney. Keep up the good work.

Thanks mate, that end song is just from the music selection on the TH-cam creator music library. Unfortunately I don't think is actually a "real" song.
yup, open the throttle full and cut your distance by 66%. aren't boats wonderful? ;) the reverse is also true though, cut the throttle to barely above an idle and increase the distance, often by as much as 200%. Though you need a lot of time, food and water going that slowly.
I wouldn't like to run her at WOT for extended periods of time. It was probably 80% throttle to get 10kts so not much gain for the extra throttle not to mention the extra fuel burn. I'm looking forward to taking her for a proper river cruising and just sitting on 6knts watching the world slide past.
@@HarpersShed Wow ! That was fast and smooth. We usually do 6 knots. In our case that means 1800 rpm so hardly any noise and a fuel consumption of 3 liter (diesel) per hour. Remember, a big wave behind you means you burn a lot of fuel to create that wave.
@@janentomenkafka I was impressed by the little engine that could. I would hate to thing of the burn rate at WOT but it was just a test not where she would be running for hours on end.

Hi Adrian, Thanks for the offer mate that would be cool to do one day for sure. Can you send me an email please to tphengineering@hotmail.com So I can keep track of your details. Can be hard to go back and find a specific comment sometimes.
Loving the boat vids man! Rebuilding boats is my passion. I have a thought though! If you're planning to get your use out of it this year why not chuck it up for swap to something newer and fibreglass. It will take forever to find someone keen so you'll get your enjoyment out of Kiara. There are a few non runners around that would be easier to fix than this old girl. And their owners would easily see this boat as something "easier" to fix. The amount of abandoned flybridge cruisers I see in the harbours is just sad. Anyway God bless mate enjoy the rest of summer.
Thanks mate glad you're enjoying the videos. I have toyed with the idea from time to time about upgrading but I honestly don't think I can do it to the old girl. As much as I would like a modern glass and diesel flybridge I think I would miss Kiarra too much. I also hate selling a halfway finished project, I always feel like I'm giving up on it. Also she does make for good content for the channel as well as keeping me on my toes and my skills up.
Well done, so pleased for you. Take a break now and recharge.
