Great vid! Did you consider the CLS350? I got one earlier this year, so far very pleased. Comparable performance and economy stats to those featured here too
Cool vids hope things are going well with the Saab. I'm messaging regarding the artwork behind you in this video. Can you tell what is it, name of artist and where from. Cheers.
Ok all nice cars for the money, I have a infiniti M3ds 350NM V6 AWD AWS and very quiet with double glazing windows very reliable. Love the Jag thanks..
Owned the LS460 . Sold it at a huge loss. Too many electrical problems and sticky dashboard. The LS400 & LS430 are the ones to go for. Avoid LS460 at all costs. Check the car care nut channel. He seems to agree
@stonecold9132 sorry to hear that, thanks for sharing your experience. Sticky buttons are a problem on so many cars from that era. What did you get after the LS460?
@stonecold9132 Wow! 2 of my friends own a LS460 and they have been fine. I heard from several people improvements were done on the 2013 and up models. Lexus is the safest choice if you want a quality luxury vehicle in my opinion.
In Australia the LS Lexus 2007 onwards have no resale price. Cars linger on Web sites for 6 mths to 4 years still unsold. With our luxury tax, GST etc the new lexus LS500 sell for around A$230,000. After 4 years out of warranty sell for $95,000 often with less than 30,000k, why? I love Lexus have driven them for over 15 years. They are over priced to start, have choice of silver, black an a few white, all with black interiors, how boring, no wonder they didn't sell.
@@drivenbydatacars Great Video! Interesting choice with the LS600hL over the LS460 though. They aren't as nice to drive due to the CVT and the added weight for the hybrid and AWD System. The LS460 would have been a better comparison to the other cars. I actually bought a 2008 LS460 in Australia here for 30K. It had 140K KM's on it (under 100K miles) and a full Lexus service history. They are rare as hens teeth here in Australia and they are a hard sell. Plenty on the market have no service history or have been hacked up (converted to cheap coil springs / mistreated. The reason these depreciate is like any older flagship here in AU is due to the luxury car tax as 4Bossie said (Mine was over 200K new). The maintenance costs don't get any cheaper as the car gets older too which scares most people away (Ask me, I'm up for 2 new front air-struts for $10K) In saying that, the performance and reliability of the drivetrain and the fully loaded kit we get here in AU makes it a value for money winner (even with one or two expensive repairs). I've never had a nicer driving car and will keep this forever.
No BMW should ever be reccomended as a good second hand buy, poor design and materials is the reason with far too many plastics in the engine, including the chain tensioners which because because of the bad design are at the back of the engine and needs an engine out to repair it. Just avoid them!
One of the most mindlessly crass statements I have ever heard about BMWs…..and I know what I’m taking about. I have owned over 70 BMWs in the last 41 years and restore and renovate older BMWs and Mercedes!
@@derin111 Watch M539 renovations! I'm not talking about the older ones, it's the newer ones where the quality went out the window, to the extent now many US garages refuse to even work on them.
@@flakieflake9616I have watched ALL his videos! I have been personally doing what he does (maybe not as in depth as him because he is extremely skilled) for at least the 25 years! I don’t need an opinion on what “many U.S garages” are doing because I have no interest in the opinion of a country where the biggest selling vehicles are Pickup Trucks. Nevertheless, I stand by my original comment that your blanket statement about never buying a secondhand BMW is utterly ridiculous. Only someone who actually knows very little about cars would make such a blanket statement about one of the biggest and most successful car manufacturers in the World! Yes, I could imagine accepting a statement like that about a small volume manufacturer with a known reputation for poor quality control…like TVR….but it is laughably ignorant to say it about BMW in that blanket manner.
I had a 2012 XF for 6 years 3-0 it never missed a beat wish I never sold it.
Lexus if not the best must surely be up near the very top ,great cars ,thanks👍🏴
Very competent cars, no doubt
Great video man, I like the Jaguar

Sorry my car infiniti M30dS 550NM V6 AWD AWS Thanks. still love the Jag.
You forgot to include the Toyota Century, on the list
Interesting car but we don’t get them in the UK, not many imports but the cheapest are well over 10k
Good video, thanks. Be interested to see your choice of top mid-size luxury cars, under £10k. 👍
@mikesymike thanks for the first comment on the channel! Appreciate the feedback - it’s on the list 👍

No diesels comon 😮what u thinking 🤔 anyone in ldn ulez petrol pls
I didnt know BMW had a V6 engine.. petrol or diesel.
BMW never had either petrol or diesel v6 its always been straight six inline 6 or i6 engines so not sure what v6 fake news came from?
Don’t you have to buy most of these at like 170k miles on them just to keep them under 10k? They’re practically done at that point
Lexus all day long
A lot of car for the money...
I will stick with my 1991 w126 s class
Very cool car, love them with the two tone paint too
@@drivenbydatacarsthey are great and so simple to keep in the road. Mine is a roll out so all one colour.
BMW 1st Jaguar 2nd
Audi A8 is the best here
Audi A8 is very underrated. Plenty of spec and one of my favourites.
Definitely an underrated car
