I think it sounds pretty damn good when MDS kicked in. I’ve been looking at these trucks. I like the style of the 2500 but don’t need the cummins or want to pay for maintenance on a diesel.
Nice! I just got a new 16 6.4 and got muffler ripped off for now, thinking of going straight pipe instead of adding another muffler had a magnaflow on my 14 and it was just to damn quiet, just love the sound when getting on this mug
...was concerned about what my exhaust would sound like with the MDS kicking in...not bad. Will probably be install the magnaflow bolt in on my Power Wagon.
Besides the wicked ass AC/DC tune playing, (although they even make a shitty song), the sound is bad ass. Did the same to my 5.7 Ram. Straight piped. No mufflers. As someone said to me sounds "monstrous"....love it!!!!
These things sound good from factory, little loud in my opinion but with something to tame it, it would be perfect. Sounds pretty wicked straight piped though
Looking and sounding great just curious about what setup for the exhaust did you run ? Is it true dualed without mufflers because I can tell the cats are in
I just bought the same truck last week. This was the first video I watched. And i keep watching it,lol. I'm between this and super 10s. Any suggestions man?
Apollo Pitt i have a new exhaust system on my truck now. Actually sounds louder and better than this video. However it's still straight piped. I would check out MBRPs exhaust. Than if you want it louder it's easy to throw a muffler delete pipe on there. Check out my other vids
Apollo Pitt I had a Flowmaster 953558 at first with the resonator deleted, but had too much drone at 1600-1900. I added an aftermarket resonator but it did little to help. I put on a Flowmaster 53553 with a resonator delete. Although the catalog says mild sound, it's not. Great rumble at start and always audible at idle and driving.
Craig Hirsch thanks bud,it's way too quiet stock. I have so many toys that I'm looking at for it and haven't even made the first payment for it yet.lol. I'll definitely check it out.
is there any drone in the cab? or while pulling a trailer? I did it 20 years ago on my 96, and I can't remember (I was also 20 younger and it wouldn't have bothered me... lol)
Jason Sharp drone isn't bad with this setup. I just went to 4" dual mbrp exhaust with muffler delete. Much louder and more aggressive. Video coming soon
I went online today and looked for the muffler delete kit and couldn't find 1.... only 1 I saw was to go to a dual pipe.... I'm trying not to spend much $. Do you know of any that are what I am looking for?
Man that Sounds Nasty !!! I admire your Unique Videos ! & Keep doing Takeoff Videos it's Sick !!! But it sounds like as if you Only kept the Cat !? So What set do you use do you use a Y Pipe Or not also !?
Swear , I've watched this video probably 30 times. I think I'm gettin my sawzall out tomorrow
Apollo Pitt I have other videos as well with the new exhaust
Just cut and put a pipe no need to well those clips do well if you torque em right
I did it. Next week straight piping my Power Wagon.
AC/DC and a straight-pipe HEMI. Doesn't get any better than this
Minus AC/DC
The best cruising sound I’ve ever heard.
So damn good...
I've got the 2016 - similar blackout edition with the 6.4 and same exhaust setup - sounds just like the video. Love it.
is it too overly loud or not that bad? and is there only one muffler on it?
I think it sounds pretty damn good when MDS kicked in. I’ve been looking at these trucks. I like the style of the 2500 but don’t need the cummins or want to pay for maintenance on a diesel.
Lol it’s not a diesel
@@Fatty_Margo You don’t read
What is MDS/none MDS
@@jkmoneygone172 mds makes it run on 4cylinder mode to save gas
Yiu can get hemi or diesel for 2500
Sweet muscle car sound I love Ram hemi engine Ram 1500 and Ram 2500 power wagon
Now this is how you do a proper exhaust video. Very nice truck as well
i have a 22inch magnaflow and reso deleted...thunking of deleting a muffler....your videos definitely a big help..thanks man
very overdose of badass For this Heavy Duty ram 2500! love it!
Thank you so much for posting that, made my night
Nice! I just got a new 16 6.4 and got muffler ripped off for now, thinking of going straight pipe instead of adding another muffler had a magnaflow on my 14 and it was just to damn quiet, just love the sound when getting on this mug

I may just be insane but I love the sound of MDS kicking in on the highway. On top of that the sweet sensation of saving gas!
I miss my hemi but I love my diesel
Besides the wicked ass AC/DC tune playing, (although they even make a shitty song), the sound is bad ass. Did the same to my 5.7 Ram. Straight piped. No mufflers. As someone said to me sounds "monstrous"....love it!!!!
i always like the low to mid rpm sounds like the one at 0:28
that’s when my car sounds best/loudest!
Sounds great i will have to post up mine when i finally get it done. Trying to decide to leave the factory y pipe or do true duals and remove it.
Beautiful truck and sounds awesome
Sounds phenomenal!
My power wagon is getting this lol if o end up buying one lol thank! Got a like!
That looks and sounds bad ass. Nice job
These things sound good from factory, little loud in my opinion but with something to tame it, it would be perfect. Sounds pretty wicked straight piped though
Love it
Tune in next week when we go muddin’ in a Challenger!
just bought same one, 3500 though, from dealer with straight pipe. told them put stock exhaust on and ill take it lol...
Looking and sounding great just curious about what setup for the exhaust did you run ? Is it true dualed without mufflers because I can tell the cats are in
i closed my eyes and imagined a dust cropper flying over my head...
Nice truck! I had a straight piped 2005 ford f150
sounds amazing man
personally I think it needs a 1 chamber just to tune the sound a hair .
What a beast.
Why ram won't sell it that way idk. I did it to mine and now it sounds beast
Bc epa would loose their shit

is this actually a 6.4 motor like the scat pack motor?
Will it pass inspection with strait pipes? Does it trip the engine light?
No and probably
a true dual setup would really sound good though
Yeah . I'm thinking of going with the arh headers w/out cats
+Ryan that would be amazing
It doesn't matter lol but what's the milage?
is there any drone in the cab? or while pulling a trailer? I did it 20 years ago on my 96, and I can't remember (I was also 20 younger and it wouldn't have bothered me... lol)

thanks bud
That was "balls to the walls"? Looks incredibly slow. Is your truck 373 or 410 gear?
I like it
Sick truck man!!! Are you running wheel spacers?
Nope
Is that with the resonator deleted too?
How bad is the drone when towing heavy?
Headers also or just dual straight pipe ?
I went online today and looked for the muffler delete kit and couldn't find 1.... only 1 I saw was to go to a dual pipe.... I'm trying not to spend much $. Do you know of any that are what I am looking for?
J B mufflex muffler delete pipe. You can get it on eBay
Is it 6 inch lift kit?
Hey man what size piping did you use? Wish my 5.7 sounded this good haha
Ethan Logan this video is 2 1/2" piping. I have a 4" exhaust on it now. Video just uploaded yesterday
Yeah the 4" sounds good too! Are you running true duals?
Ethan Logan no
We want a New Video Man . A Straight Piped Takeoff at Night Would be Amazing !!!! @Ryan
Does it have cats? Whats the full exhaust setup?
This was a custom made dual exhaust from a friend of mine. It did have cats.
Should I go with Straight pipe or outlaws?
Straight pipes would be cheaper. Outlaws are basically straights
Also could I just cut the muffler out and replace it with a = sized pipe welded up? Or do you have to go to a smaller pipe?
J B as long as you keep it cat back you will get no codes. They sell a muffler delete kit. Right now I’m running the MBRP 4” kit with muffler delete
Nice Truck !! Stop beaten on it !!
Ronald DeSantis that’s what a trucks built for, to take a beating, wether it’s hauling a trailer or hauling ass, the hemis are a different breed
Man that Sounds Nasty !!! I admire your Unique Videos ! & Keep doing Takeoff Videos it's Sick !!!
But it sounds like as if you Only kept the Cat !?
So What set do you use do you use a Y Pipe Or not also !?
The cats are still there. And factory Y pipe still in place. Waiting to decide on headers
Was this a true dual setup or y piped setup?
This was a Y pipe setup
Does it tend to drone a lot ATM?
No drone... but I’ve since traded it in for a 2021 Cummins.
What size pipes?
😍
Put some 22's on it & you'll be fine "Goodyear" :)
it should 5 inch piping all the way
GunSon12Gaug it's not a diesel lol
who said only diesels can have 5 inch exhaust
GunSon12Gaug I like the way it is
i'm fine with that. I just said what i would do
why in the world would you put 5 inch exhaust on a gas motor lol
you have a leveling kit installed in this vid?
Yes I have the rough country 2.5 leveling kit
Sir I want that rlly bad
You need 3" or 3 1/2 all the way pipe and could be better
it almost sounds like a diesel
spare tire placement?
Austin Wright factory
Needs 3 inch exhaust.
mitchellhemi I just put the MBRP 4" cat back
Ah, still sounds awesome, love the stance to it.
Jesus no it sounds like some 18yr old kid owns that truck
fuck that truck is slow. sounds like shit too
Nice truck. Car guys think they can make their 3.6s just as powerful as a 6.4. Us truck guys know better.
what muffler is on this looking to put duels on my 2016 ram 2500 hd with the 6.4 hemi
Rob Ostrander no mufflers just 2.5 piping. I just installed the mbrp 4" dual exhaust with muffler delete pipe
What kind of exhaust did you have at the time of this video?
needs 4.10s
Truck needs color bad! Just another color to break it up
0-60 please
sheldon blankenship my truck weighs 8000 lbs and the 0-60 is under 9 so this should be fast.
IDITURBO yeah fucking sure it is
BAMF FatBoi that's not even impressive, I've seen 12 valve cummins trucks with less done to them than mine running 13.5 quarter miles.
IDITURBO I've never timed 0-60. It's a truck. If I want to race I'm not going to use my truck
Ryan so basically it's slow like I expected... jk
It’s so quiet
Sounds good, but performance wise,..... yeah......
Brent Witter taller tires and most likely a 3.55 gear ratio,i think it did just fine.
Bro that’s wet
Wow that sounds like shit...
ecomode lol
It's still a hemi not a Cummins
no shit dumbfuck. You inbred or wwhat? haha, roflmao
I love your Vids! Greetz from Germany
