New apartments are going to love your shop lol
I feel like they're gonna tell the owner of this shop to move elsewhere when people start complaining
@@MrTherandomvidsguyyea but then again they should’ve realized their building in front of an exhaust ship
@@nathanielmarure5626 oh I know. Look at what's happening to race tracks. New apartments and homes being built. Owners complain, track gets shut down.
@@MrTherandomvidsguy stuff like that is infuriating. Places like tracks and exhaust shops shouldn't be bothered if they were there first
Good thing they close at 5
The worst part is leaving the house at 6:30 am to go pour asphalt….wake up the whole neighborhood
This thing is gonna be ridiculous on a true cold start.
There's a guy on here with a coyote f150 with long tubes, off road y. and a borla atak system. It's absolutely obnoxious.
Or even worse, arriving at someone elses house to fix there asphalt and waking up there whole neighborhood.
I work concrete as a batch man and my dually is straight piped there’s a few days out of the week where I’m up at the plant at 1am if not earlier getting things ready my neighbors haven’t said anything and if they did I’d tell them this is America and I pay my taxes 😂
@@anthonyrowland9072 I got a 12th f150 triton with an exhaust manifold leak and every morning when I leave the house I’ll turn the key gently (as if that will help 😅)…….its loud like a gunshot going off
Shoulda got an ecoboost haha 🤷♂️
I leave for work at 5:30AM. My truck has no mufflers or cats. Fuckem.
28 year old me, YES, straight exhaust! Older now me...the Borla sounds nice. (now get off my lawn!)
same here
I’m 36 and still like my stuff loud.
28? ur late i was doing it at 16
The alternate muffler installs and side by side videos are a great, and very much appreciated addition to the videos. :)
Just needs the audio without his voice in the clips
Glad you like them!
@@blakesouless6648 why it gives the videos more character?
@chopperwilson I mean no offense but I don't come to hear commentary, now that he's adding side by side clips, I can just skip to those to hear what they sound like. If u like hearing commentary then watch the whole thing
Crazy how the 6.4 in the trucks sound so much different than the cars. Manifolds and loooooong pipes change it dramatically. The X-Pipe and borla definitely sound the best
The main thing that makes truck engines sound different is that they all have unequal length exhausts. If you do equal length into an x pipe, you can give any truck engine that higher pitched sports car sound.
@@splewy there is a guy who did that to Chevy truck, that thing sounded amazing. I think the video was how to make your truck sound like a corvette.
The 6.4 in the ram 2500 is not the same as the 6.4 SRT hemi in the chargers and challengers. Same displacement but completely different engines.
@@TexasSpeedManiacThat’s because the truck engines are designed differently. They’re not the same thing as the car engines. Just as how the LS has the Vortec variant for the Truck/SUV’s. The truck engines are designed with smaller intake and exhaust valves that has lower compression, and has more torque than the cars do, but the cars are designed for more HP. Also the added length of the truck/SUV, and the more hollow underneath of the body-on-frame design gives the truck engines a more deeper tone. I have always favored the sound of the truck engines over the somewhat similar car engines.
Y'all made it quite again but that Borla gives it a deep rumble so it doesn't sound stock.💯
X-pipe & Borla Pro XS sounds great.
Theres another exhaust system that not many people know about which makes 392s sound amazing.
Its called Zoomers Exhaust. Just look up a few videos with 2012 - 2014 Charger SRT8s with this exhaust.
The side by side comparisons are a great feature.
Appreciate the side by side format at the - that was good comparison. Have to admit i like the X Pipe with Borla Muffler.
Glad you liked it!
i love the new editing you guys are doing it’s so good 😂
Now that sounds awesome. 🔥 No rasp whatsoever.
With the Borla in place the truck sounds fantastic. You guys really nailed the look too - those tips are delicious.
shouldve put the x pipe to start with and he mightve liked it more. sounds way better after though
I like that you added the comparison of before and after each job you do, and in this case I would have liked it to be with the X-pipe but with the straight exhaust, I love your work and you know how to find the exhaust tone in each vehicle
Even tho it was quieter, it sounded wayyyy better with the x-pipe and res. From a 7/10 to a 10/10 lol.
Straight pipe is just young guys want to sound tough n loud. We all go through that phase, but then you one day, you’ll value quality.
Not a chance everything will have had no cats no mufflers straight pipes to the day I die
Still sounds good for the second time around great job guys.
that Xpipe-borla setup sounds so good.
I was listening to that straight pipe idle, and when they hit the gas I about came up out of my chair. But I think it sounds better with the muffler in the X pipe.
No way! Straight pipe is nothing but loud clapping sounds - no tone or nothing.
@@MidwestMotor yes that’s why I said it sounds better with a muffler
@@chrisb-br5nx I know - I must have replied to the wrong person. Sorry.
@@MidwestMotorIt sounds even worse in the lower compression truck variant of the same engines that the cars have. Monotone clapping with no tone whatsoever…..
@@MidwestMotor that’s OK. Have a great day my fellow Midwesterner.
I remember seeing this truck with its old exhaust a week or 2 ago, it didn't sound great in person.
beast mode! god dang that V8 sounds meaty boi!
True dual even when im old
I love the tassel ❤❤❤🥹👍👍👍
Love watching your channel - one thing to note, if you read this, is that saying "sound decibels" is redundant. Decibels are only used to measure sound (or sound power, SWL), so you can just say "decibels."
sounds so much better
If u ever do a straight pipe and you don’t like the snapping at the end of a rev go up to a 3 inch pipe to a 5 inch tip then you will get a deep growl instead of the snapping
Dam that pink truck sounds great
My parents have it now but I drove an 03 2500 Hemi regular cab in college. I put a Banks Monster Exhaust on it and loved the deep unique sound it had. Living on a farm though when you put a big trailer on it to haul stuff it was...rowdy but not kackle sounding like straight pipe. My grandpa used it to pull a trailer and loved going by people and laying on it. The only other time I ever ran across a banks gas exhaust was a nissan titan that of a marine recruiter that lived next to me in my college apartment.
For all these known reasons I knew he'd likely be back for a muffler seeing that pintle hitch and knowing what they do. Even as a 36 year old I prefer a little deeper sound anyway.
Damn that sounds good wow
Oh yea that's badass!
Nice work! 🤘🏻😎🔨 First go around, not good… just loud to be loud. Second go around, much better… refined.
You should look into doing a Billy Boat exhaust, they make great ones.
I have a pro xs on my G37 it's a heavenly sounding muffler.
It's true addiction for me too..
Best regards from France where I own a 1994 dodge RAM 318 ci with straight 😂
Borla has lower nicer rumble, the tru duel was just loud. I chopped my muffler and flapper valve off my silverado, but after get some money, putting an AWE system on. Sounds great, yet still pretty loud
I put a 5"ID in/out x 9" long resonator on my gas powered pickup. I missed the straight pipe immediately. You can put your leg in a 5" ID hole. 4" swallows a 4x4 board loosely. I thought about building a system with dual boom tubes out the sides in front of the back tires.
The x-pipe with Borla XS has my vote
The true dual straight pipe had the smile going on exhaust addict's!
borla sounds good
Straight-pipe sounds fun. Maybe just the X-pipe would've been enough to tame it. It's sounds about the same in the end as it did the beginning. The dual-exit looks a lot better though, that's for sure.
The straight pipe puts the clap in clapped.
I swear I saw this exact truck on I24 omw home from work😂
Borla s type would have been better but the final setup is still good 👍🏻🔥
That’s way better the second time!!! Not all clapped out
I would want to hear a halfway between the borland and straight pipes
Can you start doing inside driving drone videos
Borla for the Win!
Much better the 2nd time. High flow cats would be awesome too. Other than that the X-Pipe and Pro XS from Borla helped a lot.
Way better the 2nd time. Straight pipes sound like actual garbage
Should've started with a simple muffler delete, go from there. Might like it and stick with it and that's the least expensive option.
Hopefully that blacktop holds up good 😂
He should get Carven R Series on there (my favorite)
HELL YEA STRATE PIPES
went to the extreme just to make it way too quiet. wouldve went with a s type. True dual straight pipe is loud btw idk what they were thinking.
I have a muffler delete on my 5.7 hemi and it’s perfect not too loud like straight pipe and no drone !
Straight pipe that v8!!!
Do you guys install long tubes
Flowmaster series55 street strip sounds the best.
Sounds amazing people will think it’s a hellcat coming around the corner 😂
I guinenly like this business supporting business
I tried just dual pipes on my car and no only did it sound like ass, it lost performance too. Put the x-pipe back on and it sounds way better and smoother with much superior throttle response.
Straight pipe 🔥🔥
How come nobody uses those thrush and red devil glasspack anymore?
Small block chevys sounded amazing with those.
I miss those days!
Chevys sound like 5hit
I think it would have sounded good with glass packs I think the straights were too loud and the borla was just to quite guess I’m growing up ?
Omg the true dual straight pipe sounds amazing Iam very happy right now because this video thank you exhaust addicts i wish made more video have loud exhaust 💥💥💥
“He looks like a pink nightmare” - A Christmas Story.
Sounds really great, but there's a lot of clapping imo, so borla one hundred procent than straight pipes though
Borla just needs high flow cats
A smaller muffler like a flowmaster outlaw with the x-pipe would've sounded better than the quiet ass borla muffler.
he sounds way sadder after making it quiet.
i mean it works catches attention with the eyes and the ears now lol
Wants to be loud to be seen? HES IN A BRIGHT PINK TRUCK!!!
He just needs the Borla it has a built in Xpipe and it will get louder as it breaks in
Borla and X Pipe sounds so much better.
way to loud is not a thing you can never be to loud 😂
Straight pipe sounds good
Second time around is much better. The first time was just noise. No tone, nothing but noise.
that actually sound fairly good (NOT THE STR8 PIPES)
Would say not a bad way to blow 600$ .. but im sure he charged him over 2000$ to do the blacktop coating lol🤣
True dual is never the move. everything without a turbo needs a crossover pipe
he should have done a triple x pipe
His wife said too loud and made him come back 😆
That could definitely be a 901 truck lol
That truck sounds really good straitpiped
Stock sounded louder than the x pipe and muffler😅
Pavement princess
Not even a shop owner knows what a true dual is. Jesus christ
The first one was the best the second one is for old men 😂
i have not had a car in over 3 months shits getting rough
It did 124db
Keep it with true duals straight pipe is better on my 99 Ford F-150 with the 5.4 got true duals straight pipe cat back. 10 inch pipes so loud
Way better the second time. Vehicles need tone, not just clap.
Million times better sounding with the x-pipe and muffler. I can never understand people when they want to straight pipe their vehicles. It always sounds like trash and the drone/noise level at cruising speeds has to be the absolute worst. x-pipe and a good aftermarket muffler on most NA V8 is the way to go!
That mf sounds good. Too loud for me but it sounds good 😂
See if only he had straight pipe that he could change the sound by a push of a button so it sounds like the borla
I'm wondering if he got pulled over for sounding like a monster truck or realized that straight pipes killed the torque and power?
I have straight piped, cat delete for down-pipes, resonator delete for true dual & custom exhaust with valve copy of Hamann GLE63s exhaust. My GL500 x166 M278 went from 435hp too 447hp at the Dyno test. V8 Bi-Turbo the turbos guess love the straight pipes.
Straight pipes were perfect
Sounded like hot garbage
@@jmc6000glad you left your comment 👍🏼👍🏼 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Perfect? It was nothing buy annoying clapping sounds with no TONE or refinement - like banging on some metal trash can lids - horrible!!!
Exact comment I’d expect to see with a 2000s blazer with purple headlights as your pfp
Should have done just the muffler. X pipe and the muffler makes it too quiet😂
Not loud enough the 2nd time
Louder is not always better if it sounds like utter crap
100 Db is as loud as an 8” 110v grinder, while it’s grinding metal.
You obviously don’t know how loud things are. 130 Db is about 32% louder than 100Db.
100db is enough to cause temporary hearing damage, 130 is the equivalent to a passenger jet taking off and will cause permanent hearing damage right away.
130db also has the potential to cause internal injury to the brain. The sound waves if close enough to the exhaust tip will quite literally rattle your brain until you die.
So how is 100db quiet? Especially if it causes hearing damage after only a few minutes of exposure.
Y’all aren’t very educated on how to prevent hearing damage are you?
@@jmc6000facts. The 2nd time is loud enough but not obnoxious
@@saltycanadian6190my 5.0 mustang was like 145db lol
Can you guys stop calling it straight pipe when it still has the cats
Cat back straight pipe
That straight pipe is just mf nasty
Sounds good. But!! Pipes don’t match! Not the same angle from each other. Looks weird.
