The 2023 Mazda CX-60 has arrived on Philippine shores, and in this Filipino car review, we take a look at the base trim 2023 Mazda CX60 AWD HEV Turbo. This 2024 Mazda CX-60 is the gasoline trim, which came in along with the Mazda CX60 AWD Diesel. The 2023 Mazda CX-60 AWD Turbo is priced at the exact same price as the Mazda CX-9 Black Edition, so in this video, we check out the differences between the Mazda CX-60 AWD HEV and the larger Mazda CX-9 Black Edition. The 2023 Mazda CX60 AWD Turbo is larger than the CX-5, wider than the CX-8, but smaller than the Mazda CX-9. The 2024 Mazda CX-60 AWD Turbo is currently the most powerful production Mazda available in the Philippines today, which makes me excited to try and drive this SUV out. There are no real competitors for the Mazda CX-60 AWD Turbo in the price segment, because the 2024 Mazda CX-60 AWD Turbo is the only midsize SUV that is equipped with an inline-6 turbocharged engine.

The Gasoline variant also sounds better than the Diesel variant. It's just a matter of personal preference as they are pnly 100k Php apart

This has a Mild hybrid system right? So it is not exempted to coding under EVIDA law. The law requires that a vehicle can be propelled by the electric motor, hence the reason why Okavango is also not exempted bec it's also a MHS. Pls correct me if I'm wrong thanks.

@@streamingvideo6654 Yun nga Ang confusing eh. According to EVIDA law, Yung electric motor can provide propulsion. This includes EV, BEV, LEV, HEV, PHEV. Mild hybrids can't provide propulsion assistance lang. And nabasa ko dati na sabi Ng DOE any other type of electric vehicle na Hindi Kasama dun ay not exempted. Well nagrequest na naman Ang mmda Ng list Ng exempted sa DOE so wait na Lang natin.
joining in this thread. that's exactly my point! mild hybrid eh, meaning it's not exempted bec the electric motor only serves to be more fuel efficient but it can't propel the vehicle, am I right? I'm confused too bec I'm eyeing this however, having second doubts. The CX 30 is not excluded so how can can this mild hybrid be different? I heard 2024 Honda CRV will be coming soon with a full hybrid, that will probably stir up my mind

Because of the higher rpm Gasoline engine does compared to low rpm Diesel engine does I think.

Correction lang po.. hindi base model yung CX-60 na Gasoline variant. Both are exactly dsame except their HP, Torque and their interior looks.
Different front grille, wheel design, exterior trimmings. Black chrome vs chrome, black side mirror housing vs body color. Interior materials and color. Gasoline variant is also lower priced. That's a lot of differences. Not exactly the same.
@@ReygansRides yup i know don't need to write it all down. But still that Gas variant is not a base model. Their are only two Variants that is Diesel and Gas. Both are top of the line.
@@ReygansRides I'm leaning more on the Gas Model. I prefer the black interior that 2 tone of the Diesel is quite hard to maintain. And a + on HP 🙂

why the heck would you buy the cx-60 over the cx 9? because you dont to drive the bigger car... coz you are single and there will be more than enough space... that you need... the cx-60 has better technology, fuel economy, and it has more premium built and design... etc2x...
