Have you had any experience using this with natural gas? My two biggest concerns are 1) it gets too hot and 2) the company will not respond to any phone calls or e-mails. Worried that if I have a problem I wont have any support.

I use a laser thermometer and shut it off if it gets crazy but the griddle is great at holding heat.
