You need a 10 lb minimum sledge to use a impact screwdriver. The way it works is that it multiplies the force applied from the impact of the hammer on the screwdriver. It also need to be "primed" by turning it clockwise on the screw until there isn't any play so all of the energy is applied.

I'll keep that in mind for next time! Thanks!

EpicJonTuazon I just worked on all 4 brakes for a 2012 Honda Civic EX last week. I had 8 VERY rusted screws. I used a heavy duty (not harbor freight) impact screwdriver with a 10lb sledge. I whacked them as hard as I could after spraying WD-40. 3 whacks and they unscrewed. Key here is using ALOT of impact (heavy hammer) and good quality impact screwdriver. As long as the screw isn't stripped it will come off no problems. The impact screwdriver is like a ratchet in that you can use it to loosen or tighten the screw. Make sure it's set to loosen.

What stuff do you use to clean the rotors and I saw you put some type of cream on the break, what is that?

You put these brakes on your car more than a year ago, so what do you think about these rotors and pads?

No issues so far! Love em! No warping or excessive wear at all. Car is DD also so its getting enough use. Would not hesitate to recommend them nor replace with the same ones.

@@jesusloveyou9523 yeah I understand there are torque specs for all bolts. I've got a decent feel for how tight they should be. But should Def be noted that there are different specs for the bolts if you aren't comfortable with an estimate. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for the information. Please loose the music. Makes the video a bit confusing and adds nothing.
