The one time I got put on Daytime Dorm Guard (Air Force Fire Watch) our Ops Officer (O-3) stepped-in to check on something. The rest of the flight was out on training so the bays were empty save for one who was sick and On Quarters. As soon as he stepped over the threshold I commanded the empty squad Bays: "Dormitory! Tench Hut!" then "At Ease!" after his "At Ease." A minute later he was done and stepped-out to leave. Again I went, "Dormitory! Tench Hoot!" then "At Ease!" into the empty void. Later I found-out that impressed him so (most recruits forget that protocol for officers) that we got to get our BDU Branch and Name Tapes issued a week early.
