    I joined the Navy 50 years ago last year and spent a year learning my skills. One of which was how to paint properly and make your brushes last a lifetime. Watching you work in that square and stripe fashion brought those memories back. Narrowboats are a lot small than aircraft carriers but the process is still the same. Thanks for the trip down memory lane John.
