Amazing news! 2021 starts great right out of the block!
My favorite series of them all. Voyager helped me through some harsh time and is an inspiring, fictional family. Figures like Captain Janeway, Seven of Nine, Chakotay, B'elanna, Tom, Neelix, Tuvok and The Docror are great and empowering characters. Absolutley loved the DS9 Documentary and looking forward to this documentary!

Germany: VOYAGER was my first love and my first Star Trek Series I started my being as "FAN". Without Voyager I have never met so many people and friends over the years...and learn english by the way. Convention-Family = FedCon (Bonn, germany) --- I greet you all!

I'm really looking forward to this, however when the Voyager documentary is released, can it PLEASE have better distribution than the DS9 documentary! What do I mean by this? The blu ray version of the DS9 doc is only available in region 1, so it only plays on blu ray players in North America and a few other countries. Yet the blu ray is sold internationally (by Amazon US) and so it becomes a literal paper weight!
This is very disappointing and short-sighted from the production company or distributors - whichever is responsible. It really sucks and honestly it feels insulting to every DS9 fan that lives outside of the supported regions.
I couldn't get a refund from Amazon so I had to use some software to extract all the video, which is probably legally questionable, but the producers/distributors forced me hand so I could watch a blu ray which should have been region free to begin with!
In Australia, we can't even buy or rent the digital version from the likes of Amazon prime video because while the service is available here, that particular title is not.
I was asking about this in yesterday's livestream, but unfortunately they didn't read my question. I also have no option to stream it legally in my country and I don't want to buy the DVD/blu ray either because I know it's region-locked!

@@Tomomi95 I read that those that crowdfunded it did get a region-free version sent to them. I didn't know about that crowdfunding until it was over. At least I know this is happening this time so I can back it if they again don't bother to make the doc region-free.
@Borgscan I didn't know that, I wonder why they can't sell region free DVDs if they've had them before for those international fans who backed the project. Maybe it's too expensive?
I've been hassling folks about this quite a bit and got a definitive answer via twitter tail end of last month. Shout Factory plan to release a region B Blu-ray, but with the current situation its not been moving forward very fast, but it will happen according to them.
That said, I would love it if they bundled a region free Blu-ray of What We Left Behind as a reward option on the pledge choices for Voyager.

Should I be concerned that I am emotionally attached to Voyager? Like I am pretty much the only teenager I know that is actually OBSESSED with it. It’s like my second reality! Well done Voyager and your cast ❤️❤️ you made my life 20x better.

Remember that time Tom Parris went Warp 10, and then kidnapped Captain Janeway de-evolved into some kind of reptilian, had babies, and we all kind of just pretended like that never happened.
Probably the worst episode. Not good for the digestion.
What people don't realised is what that episode meant to the estranged salander baby community. It lead to a lot of estranged salamander babies seeking and reuniting with their long lost parents. Please give the the SRA (Salamander Reunion Association) and receive your free SRA pin.
I've never been able to watch DS9 Doc which I backed because the video stream was completely broken and I never received my blu-ray/dvd combo! I am NOT backing this.
