No, because? I think the best car of history in motorsport has two cars, The Mercedes-AMG W11 and Red Bull Racing RB19, But, The 919 is The incredeble Car!
I’m always blown away by this. It’s like it fucking teleports from turn to turn, it looks like it’s flying over the track while sticking to it like nothing else, it’s actually scary to see so I can’t fathom how terrifying it must be to drive. Not hard to guide, because it looks like it’s on rails, but hard to fucking survive because of the stupid amount of forces trying to squeeze the jelly out of your eyes and to crack your ribs like they’re twigs. I’m telling you, Timo probably had to wash his pants real hard after this. Or maybe he had a diaper, I wouldn’t even laugh at him if this was the case.
It must have been terrifying. Even driving it at 70%. The speed and g forces are extreme. Remember what happened to Grosjean when he crashed into an guardrail at 200 km/h? Imagine at 350+ km/h...
i mean irl he was only 22 seconds off, pretty impressive with non optimal conditions and limited practice vs a computer that calculated every possible lap time
Yeah but this was very unrealistic. in the foxhole it did 330irl where as he did 350 so it seems like the games is faster. also this huh went full out through the corner after the foxhole which is 100kph faster than irl. it wouldn't even have the grip and downforce to do that
I always find curious how people seem to think that the speed of the 919 Evo is like impossible or something, when an F1 car corners faster and brakes even better (but loses quite a bit of time on the straights). Maybe it's because F1 cars look so normal when going that fast, that any other type of car going that fast kinda makes people's brains malfunction
919 has much harder and narrower tires, much higher weight and overall much more conservative initial regulations. Tire limitations are something many people fail to recognize on the 919, especially considering how much difference they make on F1 cars.
Other than the hill climb monsters and older IMSA and group c prototypes, I don't know what car comes close to this car in how much downforce it generates and being so aero efficient. 3+ tons of downforce and a top speed of 360?!
I think you overestimate the group c and imsa cars. They aren’t actually that quick through corners and can barely keep up with modern gt3 cars. The only thing they have is top speed. And the early 00s and late 2010s f1 cars beat them in pretty much both categories… (reaching up to 370 at tracks like baku, monza and mexico). Yes those are low downforce tracks, but for an F1 car the nordschleife is also quite a low downforce track. And yes hill climb monsters are really fast but they don’t even come close to this speed. They’re maybe like gt3+ but not much better
@@Jesko.- Yep. Here's a quote about the Peugeot 905 in 1991-3 from Motorsport Magazine. 'Wright estimates that the 905 had as much as two and a half times the download of an F1 car at the time.'
Love that. Mind if I give a video suggestion? Race the fastest F1 of each year, starting from, say 1990. Or do it in decades, like, a race of F1 cars from 1990 to 2000. Make them race more than one lap!
This may be a weird thing to think about, but I wonder if too much pressure of a race car too hard could implode someone?? I mean I don’t think so, but it’s something to think about. 🤔
It's massively dependent on the time you sustain that G-Force. I'm sure a human body can't withstand 30G for multiple seconds, at 5G-9G you already black out. For a very small amount of time, you can withstand a massive amount of force. Kenny Bräck survived a 214 G impact at TMS back in 2003. To be honest, I have no idea for the amount needed but you would need either a lot of force or a lot of time (or both).
@@THEWINDTUNNEL I had always thought it's the AI that's driving. I haven't seen much faster drivers than you, even the E-Sports ones. Congratulations for the pure skill! But how do you do the races that have more than 1 car in it? Is it then AI or it's just another really fast friend?

YES
Yes , even if I prefer more the cauber C9/C11 the 919 H.Evo is the king on the track .
