I’ve added these exact ones for both front seats on my 2007 Honda CR-V. I’ve had these over a year, I work for a car manufacturer and put a lot of abuse on these and no tear or wear so far. 👍🏼 P.S. thank you for showing me what to do with that foam. I’ve been driving with that foam hurting my lower back often 😅
I put these on my seats in a 2010 Dakota and they're great. And so everyone knows, the plastic hooks actually go under your seat and hook into the flap with the big foam piece in it. You'll see 2 metal grommets on each bottom corner of it.
I've had the tan ones in my 4runner for about 5 years and no tears in them and washable once they get gross looking. The only complaint I have is that the stitching on the elastic black park is kinda coming out from normal wear and tear but have definitely saved my seats. It's 26 year old upholstery and no stains or tears
One note: that buckle on the back of the seat, goes under the flap before you tuck the “tail” to the buckle. It makes it so your kids don’t step on and spring it out or a dog uses it as a “chew toy”. 😂
Yeah I love them! Had em about a year now. I've put them through the washing machine once or twice and they come out clean with no problems. I really like that they are waterproof or highly water resistant. I didn't have my coffee lid in tight the other day and spilled a little and was able to clean it off easily without it soaking into the seat. If you have a similar year Chevy 2500 they will fit great, not sure about other makes and models though
I’ve got a 2016 gmc sierra 1500 SLT and at first they felt really compressie I guess. I’ve used a seat warmer a couple times and it seams like the heat has help fit them better to my seats. No complaints here
yeah my job is gross so I always cover my front seats. My 2016 truck even with the seat covers the seat started to rip. I am in and out of my truck many times per day and usually covered in something dirty :)
Hey I’ve looked at several brands. One being Tiger Tough which looks very nice and the Carhartt for my 2022 F250. I rather have a darker gray over black. Those ones in this video look and sound too cheap.
I'm actually pretty happy with them. I've had them for about 6 months and I'm in and out of the truck A LOT throughout the day and they still look like new (other than the dirt on them). I just don't like the slippery fabric as much as my old carhartt custom fit ones that are made from the real carhartt material. Those were gray i believe

Nice video! It was a big help! Thank you

Hey Nick!! I’m so geeked that you chose the Carhartt ones. I’m doing a marketing project for them.
they are awesome! I love them!
Are you still liking these seat covers? How are they holding up?

My 2013 Silverado seats are still in great shape, even with daily driving use. Never covered the cloth seats but I guess everyone drives differently.

I notice hook points on the foam flap that you tucked in seat, do the hooks go there?
ohhhh that's a good idea! I don't know if they are long enough to reach that far though
Yep, that's where they hook into!
I think the bungie had to clip to the weld with the copper holes

Are they airbag safe?
hmmm i don't know actually. I just tried looking on the amazon listing and can't see any mention of it
The ones I just got have a “safe seam” that should allow the side airbags to perform as intended
