It is time to start ordering the 2023 Ford Bronco and there are a lot of people who are very angry that they still haven't received their Bronco from 3 years ago. In today's video, we are going to explain to you why you may never receive your Ford Bronco! At the end of the day, Ford is still having massive issues with the supply chain! The issues with the Ford Bronco are much worse than just Microchips! To summarize the easiest way for you to get a Bronco, you need to Order the Lowest Trim Level that you can stand! So consider ordering a Base Model Bronco or a Big Bend Bronco. Then you need to select the Lowest Package you can! So look at the Base Package 101A, or consider the Mid Package. If the Mid Package won't work for your situation, you can go to the High Package. But keep in mind that every time you go up in package, you are increasing the number of features on your Bronco. The more features you add to your Bronco, the more suppliers are involved. The more suppliers you have involved the higher the chance of having parts availability issues. That means you have a much higher chance of your Bronco NOT being scheduled for production. In addition, you need to leave off every stand alone feature that is not a deal-breaker for you. If you don't absolutely HAVE to have that option, do not order it. The fewer options you have selected the faster your Bronco will get scheduled for production. Each option you add to your order will incrementally slow down the production timing. With that said, here are some of the options that are currently causing the biggest issues. This list is in order of the Biggest Delayed options to the smallest delay.

5. Badlands/Wildtrak Trim Levels
6. Lux Package
7. Paint Protection Film
8. Heavy Duty Modular Front Bumper
9. 2.7L V6 engine

The vehicle we showcase in this video is a 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands with a Soft Top. It happens to have a Non-Sasquatch Suspension from the factory and we added a full lift kit to the vehicle allowing room to clear the 37" tires!

supply chain supply chain supply chain issues. Been hearing this since release. It makes no sense to me how anyone would pay for a new vehicle and just not get the options you want.

@@TTTR1GGER I didn't change one thing on my order and got mine May of 2022... glad I had the patience and got EXACTLY what I wanted. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
These guys are pushing people to sacrifice options and get their orders faster so more people will buy accessories. Don't get it twisted, these guys are salesmen first and foremost.
@@grimreefer5159 … absolutely spot on! I’m not going to say that videos like this do not have any value, but the advice given has to be taken with a little bit of skepticism. I won’t pretend to know everything about lifting off-road vehicles, but I’m not so keen on spacer/puck-style lift kits. If I wanted to put larger tires on my rig I would swap out the shocks, springs, control arms, track bar, tie rods, etc. … but I don’t. Mine has 35” tires from the factory(or 315/70R17, since they want to be specific) and everything else that came with the package. I’m in no rush to throw on stuff. I figure better things will come out in due time.

I would never and have never ordered a vehicle without the factory options I want. I get what your saying but I will wait for my 2 door Wildtrak with HOSS

Thanks as always for the great information. Thanks in part to you and Dave from ATN, I made the decision to switch my 2Dr badlands 7sp manual lux order to the Everglades in hopes of getting a build and VIN. It worked build week is August 8th and have my VIN. Really excited!
This type of vehicle is about ordering what you want. I'll wait for what I want and I will be one of the people that wont say "I wish I would have...."

I took delivery last week after reserving October 2020. It's a Black Diamond with all the options available. So glad I waited and got the build I wanted.
This video just makes me appreciate my Bronco even more. Day 1 reservation, converted to order in March 2021, took delivery this past January. Hard top, 2.7, Badlands, Sasquatch, high option, tow package. Totally worth the wait.

I respectfully disagree with some of this. I bought a soft top big bend without sas because of "constraints" and I got my bronco after a lot of nicer ones at my dealer. The thing that shows me is that no one knows anything about how this process works. I should have just bought what I wanted.
The bronco I ordered is very different from the one I received. I love it, but am disappointed. In hindsight I should have waited.
Facts. I feel the same way. I ordered a big bend soft top. Still taking forever. I should have ordered outer banks luxe with hard too like I wanted.
Again, the information you Gentlemen provided, has made my designs a lot easier. Excellent Advice and Info.

Thanks for the insight. Fortunately we bought ours of the lot. But with that said I have built different cars for years like jeeps . So I know there would be things I wanted to do to it. I’m a Ford guy and knew they build a great product. But the aftermarket world has great upgrades. With that said I like to build it not just buy it . I thank your that way to to a degree/ love your channel. Thanks for all the insight.
Very helpful video as always! 😊 No surprises really (other than maybe the modular front bumper…wonder how that is a constraint?). I understood that not getting the modular front bumper also meant getting a winch or other accessories down the road might be harder or impossible due to the way they install the bumper and crash bars? Not 100% sure on that. I was so close with my order, but had to have that Lux package and I did opt for the bumper but other than that, no constraints. Glad I ordered from you guys! Can’t wait to come get it!
I am one of those who need the 7 pin to tow my off grid Expedition 2.0 Trailer. So yes I need to wait from the factory.

This is a very kool looking bronco I like it hands down and your feedback / vids are great as always, truly ty... but the #1 reason I ditched my ram is cause looking under it was about the same as looking @1:15 ... just makes me clench my teeth seeing surface rust on a rig this young ... great vid keep em coming ...

Love that color on that Bronco plus all of the accessories. A friend of ours owns a Jeep Wrangler four door plus she works at our local Ford Dealership. When Ford first advertised the new Bronco she thought she wanted one until the dealership finally got one in & she got to drive it, she changed her mind, we asked why she said first her Jeep is paid for, it’s trouble free, & that the Bronco isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. Number two is the ones that have sold have been in the shop more times than been on the road, the customers get mad and sell them. Keep the contents coming and stay cool
Reserved 2 door Base manual hard top summer of 2020. Put in actual order December of 2020 and was supposed to get it spring of 2021. Got pushed off and pushed off so long they upgraded me to a 2022 model no extra charge. Got mine last March and I love it. Ordered it with the modular front bumper, roof rails, block heater, and aux switches. Area 51. ( I actually originally ordered it in Antimatter Blue but that became unavailable so I went with Area 51 which I still love).

I have a badlands on order. Removed as many constraints as possible back in March. I got a build week of 8/15 this week! I can’t wait!
Ford wouldn’t even take my order, however, I see this as a blessing seeing how bad dealerships are marking up trucks. Fortunately, there are other places to buy a car.
So I picked my bronco up today and seen Mitchell spoke but didn’t really say anything but will say that this bronco is totally badass!!!! And I got my black diamond 2 door eruption at msrp and I appreciate town and country so much for doing so!👍🏻

Reserved mine July 18, 2020. Ordered it first time in March 2021, then they made me re-order in October 2021 but then picked her up on March 31, 2022… but it was def worth it. Even the guys at the dealership were surprised. Like 3 of them had broncos on order that hadn’t gotten there’s, they said only one other hardtop had came through there so everyone wanted to check it out…
4dr Area 51 hardtop, Outer banks, 2.7L, Sas, high pckg with mod front bumper… love it. Even to this day, I mainly only see nonsquatch soft tops here in Houston…

By the way Mitchell I enjoy your videos have been a sub for a long time. Just one of those guys that wants what I want. I own a 1973 bronco and is accessorized to the hilt. I will eccessorise my Wildtrak w/Hoss when I get it. I have an F150 platinum and have the Fab-tec 6" lift and running 37x13.50 toyo m/t's. Do really like the front bumper.
My wife and I ordered our Broncos at the same time in August 2021 and I got my Badlands just 90 days after her Outer Banks. We both have the 4dr hardtops, high package but hers has leather. So I basically waited 90 short days for a sasquatch package, modular bumper, tow package and 2.7 (hers is 2.3). Yes there's some delay but It's well worth that small wait as regret continues far past that delivery date.

I’m sad I removed the tow package from my Jan22 order and it changed my pay bracket, but I did end up getting my vin and build week about a month later. So excited and can’t wait. What do you think about the AMP research steps compared to the Rockslide?
Day 2 reservation holder finalized my order in January of 2021. Didn't take delivery until may of 2022 almost a year later then was promised. For the record we got a Black diamond with.

2.tow package
3.hardtop
4.2.7 liter engine.
Had to wait longer than we planned but I wouldn't cut options you want just to get it early.
I order a badlands sasquatch, high package, soft top in Nov of 2021 and picked up mine on March 2022. I love the soft top, not a problem.
I love my soft top. Took delivery last November and had the rear windows out the first night. Finally put them back in about 3 weeks ago to prep for the Arizona summer. The top is off on our a Badlands every day…until it became 100°+ out here. LOL.
As for waiting. We waited 18 months for ours. Badlands SAS Lux 2.7 w/tow package.
Get the Bimini mesh top and you will put the top down again it really helps a lot with blocking out the sun.
@@imagin916 I installed a GearShade bimini the day after we brought the Bronco home. It’s never been taken off Actually, its’s still on right now, even though the soft top is up. A bimini is an absolute must.

Thanks for the info. This channel continues to be the MOST informative. I checked my order status the other day and still nothing. A friend of mine said she took the trailer tow option off and she scheduled for production in a week. So I had her take it off my order too (she works at Ford). This was in mid Spring 2022. Her Bronco (same as mine basically) is built and scheduled for delivery. My order is collecting dust lol. I was wondering if the accessories that I added to my order also are keeping me in the back of the line. For example, I ordered the tube doors and tailgate table (the latter I want to remove anyways). There are a few other like the mats and the door bags. Should I remove the extras from my order too? Will that make a difference? I am sure you cannot say and I would never hold you to it...I am asking generally. By the way the exhaust and the front steel bumpers look so cool. I wish I ordered with your dealership. I took the path of least resistance and ordered in MA (where I live).
22 Wild Trak base model here. I postponed 21 order to get in front of 22 line. It was built in Dec 21 and delivered in Jan 22. I think that aftermarket options are going to keep it going for years to come.
Reserved 8/2020. Ordered 10/2021. Took delivery of my two door lux auto Bad Lands 3/2022. 150 days from “ order” to my garage. Consider this pretty good considering.
About the towing capacity. I have towed with 3 manual Ford focus', a lot of the time around twice the "recommended"(1200 Lbs.) capacity and never an issue with the cars. Towing the same or more weight with a manual Bronco and it is like I am not towing anything.
The more limiting factor of tow capacity is the length of the trailer's wheelbase Vs. the tow vehicles wheelbase. The longer a trailers wheelbase the easier it is to jack knife. Some important info that is not easily obtainable and should be on door jams.
I found out about this from a friend that sued a camper dealership for selling him a camper that was too long for hi SUV.
I ordered a Wildtrak, SAS, Hi package with trailer hitch on 8/5/20 (2 yrs.) and last week recieved notification it was going to production and will recieve in September. Hope Ford was mindful enough to fix some of the issues that have been noted on utube to make it worth the wait.
I thought the same on the trailer brakes... until I spent 11 days straight in Colorado around Telluride. No matter the weight you want extra brakes to help.

Thanks for the great info as always! Every time I consider changing anything on my order, the Ford Marketing reps tell me that Ford is committed to delivering all 2022 orders in 2022, and have told me to only make changes if I no longer want the options as opposed to sacrificing options to expedite my vehicle delivery. Curious to see if Ford is actually capable of producing all of their 2022 orders like they are claiming. I really do not want to re-order in 2023 (and probably won't, will go Jeep if that's the case).
I have a 2022 order and was told 2 weeks ago from my dealer that if I didn't remove the Hard top, I would have to re-order for 2023 since all hard tops have been allocated for 2022 and my order wasn't one of them. Remove the hard top and I "might" have my Bronco built for 2022

I'm still in shock that I got my Badlands Sasquatch Lux with the modular bumper way back in December! I just went over 7k miles on it. I intentionally optioned it with the 2.3L which has been fantastic, the soft top and no tow package since from what I understood were the big holdups. It is absolutely amazing as a daily driver, and epic on the trail! Worth the year and a half long wait easily!
wait...why the 2.3L over the other engine? Manual?
@@bluwasabi7635 I test drove a demo vehicle with the 2.3L and honestly thought it was the V6, changed my order to the 2.3 that same day and my order got picked up almost immediately. I got it with the automatic transmission as well, I couldn't test drive a manual and was worried it would drive like a manual wrangler with the long shift throws, which I cannot stand. The 2.3L has plenty of pickup and has been a great motor so far, I was trying to order my Bronco with everything I had to have like the Sasquatch and Lux package, but things I could live without to get it quicker, like the hard top and 2.7L
I just bought a 2022 Ford Bronco Black Diamond Sasquatch on 2/27/23. I bought it off the lot. I didn’t really think seriously about getting a Bronco until just very recently. Luckily Marshall Ford in Marshall Texas had the one I wanted. I’m very impressed with it! I have no plans to take it off-road. I just like cruising around town.
I went with the Base and decided to build it up. Kind of wish I went with the Black Diamond.

The hardtop is a deal breaker for me but i have a question that hasn't really been answered by any bronco videos. I understand that if i get soft top, the wiring that connects to the rear shell of the hard top is not set up for a switch to hardtop later. Is it possible to get the electric wiring retrofitted to be set up for when i get a hardtop later on?
This video makes me understand why dealers are charging markups. Snagged a 2 door wildtrak with all the bells and whistles - lux package, factory tow setup, bigger engine, and the hard top. Had to pay 7k over sticker for it though...
Modular bumper and a 2 door with a hard top lux package wasn't a constraint when I got my bronco built in 4 months.
i ordered mine all wrong- base w/sasquatch, 2.7, aux switches, 2 door, modular bumper. finally got word a week ago that it's scheduled for build 8/29. that's over 2 years from when i put in my reservation.
So I just came across this video makes a lot of sense. But I’m from Pennsylvania. How would I get these mods on my future bronco.? And do the mods cost less than certain mods that are on a waiting list, please reach back??
News on 2 door hardtop? If i remove SAS what are chances of getting it sooner? Does it actually make a difference
i placed an order for a zero-option base 2 door stick in black at the end of February this year I'm hoping for news by September and I'm in the process of setting up a purchase agreement with the z plan pin at my dealer i hope they don't give me trouble with this. is it still possible to pull an order from a dealer to another thru ford?
Is it possible to order the Badlands package AND the modified bumpers, lift kit, tires and rims as one complete deal from your dealership? Is it possible to drive off your lot with a modified Bronco or do I have to oder the modifications and return to have the work done?
Now. For someone who already placed their order, what changes can be made while waiting? What if the system shows the car is in production for the last 2 months. Can changes still be made?
I'd consider the soft top if I didn't live in PA in arctic winter hell. The factory soft tops just don't fit that great on the sides. Seeing the video of the snow blowing into the bronco broke it for me. I dropped towing, but I can't lose the top.
If you want front/rear lockers can you order without Sasquatch package and you can upgrade?
I just took delivery of my Bronco on Sunday (only waited about 4 months from placing my order). This was about half as long a time as I expected. What made it happen, and my advise to anyone, is this: find yourself a great dealership (one that does a higher volume that gets more order allocations) and a sales person who is knowledgeable on these things, just like these guys. I love watching Mitchell (and the TC team) because I can hear the passion for these vehicles and for helping people get just what they want (and I wish I lived close enough to pay them a visit). Because my guys took the time to explain what things would hold up my order and helped me narrow down what was most important to me, I got one of the faster orders they said they’ve seen come through. Did I get everything I hoped for? Nope. But, guys and gals, I frickin’ LOVE this thing! The best Bronco is the one in your garage (and what you drive on the trails).

I ordered in January got my bronco in May. MIC, Sasquatch, badlands, Lux, tow, modular bumper with brush guard 7speed manual . Pretty much everything that holds up an order.

Well, today is one year on my order which was for the BIG BEND with the Sasquatch package, hard top and 4 door configuration! I thought I would get it quicker by ordering this model and I changed my order to have the dealer install my running boards and 4pin hitch!!! But still no word!!
Finally someone mentions the real difference behind the sasquatch vs badlands options. their suspension is the same, it's literally just tire size and gear ratio that change.
Badlands gives you sway bar disconnect, too.
Mitchell, great info! Question: Does your dealership do the customer order verification process (COVP)for Broncos ordered at your dealership?
Absolutely! It is only required if you don't have a reservation though. And since we haven't been able to take a new Bronco order in about 5 months, haven't had to do COVP in a long time for Bronco. It will be required when they open up 2023s.
Can the rear locking cargo box be configured to store a full length rifle?

With the ranger and the F150 AND the maverick in their lineup? I’d bet 99.9% chance that’s a no.

Buddy has been waiting a year and he only ordered a base trim 2.3EB Manual with only two options. Hardtop and optional bumper. He has been told several times he could have an earlier build slot if he will take a soft top and base bumper.
Been waiting 18 months for my Badlands and just got an email saying it’s getting built the week of 9-19-22. Crazy how long it’s been.
What time frame are you seeing for customers who order badlands , lux, 2.7, and hardtop?
2 things:
Order what you want. My salesman was just like these guys-telling me I’d never get my 2-dr., BD, hardtop, Sas., w/roof rack and mod. bumper-I got it in 6 months. So don’t compromise, just order it. It’s mostly luck.
Lastly, be careful putting all this aftermarket stuff on your Bronco. I’ve done that with 2 Jeeps, and I didn’t learn my lesson after the first one: ALL the aftermarket parts WILL rust first and FAST. Trust.
Ordered my Badlands with just the High Tech package as a 2 door manual. Unfortunately it comes only with a hard to produce hard top…..still waiting after almost 10 months with a Day 2 ‘22 order
With all the add ons that you have shown on this Bronco how much does it weigh? P.S. I have my 2020 order with you and yes I chose all the options that you mentioned that is delaying my order😪
My patience is about to payoff. My bronco is built and supposed to be shipped to my dealer between 15 and 21 November. I stuck to my order and now I am going to get it exactly how I wanted it.

Cancelled my Bronco order. Built a 2022 Rubicon XTreme Recon package, fully loaded all options. 10k under MSRP. Took 5 months but I’m in it now.
Ordered a base model with the sasquatch and overhead switches as my only 2 options over a year ago, got nothing but supply chain excuses as to why the build never got started. The build still hasn't been started, never got the email with my vin or what have you. My guess is that people who ordered base model are getting shafted so they can pump out the upper level models that bring in more money. I gave up a few weeks ago and bought a 4runner. Thing will probably outlast the Bronco by 100k any who.
I'm in the same boat! I ordered a base and have heard nothing. I told my lady that I'm going to keep my order but in the meantime I'm going to get a 4Runner. When the bronco comes I'm just going to sell it

Is Big Bend easier to get than a base 2.3 manual non-sas with mod bumper?
I have order the big bend on feb.2 and only to options holding me are the hard top and 2.7l and still no update 😢

So the is the range better with the 2.3? I live in the PNW and I want something with range and power. I have a 2011 eco boost f-150. So it’s from the early days of the ecoboots. It’s done a lot, but it’s time. I want a bronco mad I like the Everglade, but no sta bar disconnect is a turn off. Ultimately I’d love to get a soft top badlands with a hard top prep kit and squatched and the wench bumper in this video as it allows the camera to still function. I just don’t know about the engine I would like. If the 2.3 has the power to go where i want to go I’d honestly get that especially if the range is better.
It only took 11 months. Black Badlands with sasquatch,lux,tow,with hardtop. The wait was long but worth it. 3 days old today.
I had a Bronco black diamond on order for a while and never even got as vin. Novelty wore off and went with a Camaro SS 1LE 6M that I will be picking up at the dealer in 2weeks
Ordered Day 1, converted to order in March 2021, took delivery in Nov 2021, put 5,300 miles on it so far. Went to Off-Roadeo (that is an amazing trip) and at 5,050 miles, blew the fuel pump. Sat in the shop for almost 3 weeks waiting on parts (supply chain). It's a fun ride! 2021 A51 Blue Badsquatch, Lux, tow, soft-top.
Mitchell when do you think Ford will add ventilated seats and rear ac vents in the Bronco? in the hotter climate of the middle east where I come from it can reach 122F in the summer and these features are a must!

2 doors are slower, but the options you select shouldn't be an issue!

Because of what you just said about my Bronco order I am canceling tomorrow and ordering a Jeep which I was told I will have in 9 weeks. I've been waiting 14 months for the Bronco with not a word about when it would be here
Hang in there Darren, I have waited 18 months and got notified in June my Bronco would be built in August. I recently got a Jeep Wrangler, so best of both worlds.

I’m sad I removed the tow package from my Jan22 order and it changed my pay bracket, but I did end up getting my vin and build week about a month later. So another words I should have never switched to the Everglades trim because it come with modular bumper for the winch , the Sasquatch package, 12 inch screen and the hard top. So Ford should have never offered the Everglades edition with all the constraints problems with most of the parts that come on the Everglades.
