I thought the same, I'd apply a waterproof sound deadening material to the back side to stop the resonance. Also use rubber washers anywhere it bolts to the metal chassis.
A couple coats of rubberized undercoating on the backside of the fender liners will cut down on tire noise and look better if you can see them from under the good. If it doesn't change the visible tone of the paint being white a few coats of it on the back of the fenders and quarters too. It also looks like a good time to do some rust prevention with those panels off.
Jerryrigeverything just had a video where they seal the metal of his bunker with this special solution that's for harsh climates. That one would probably work.
I work at a diesel shop thoes steps are on a lot of 3/4, 1ton trucks. As long as they are lubricated and cleaned after going through mud they last for a long time. They only really seem to fail for lack of matince.
13:31 I really wish Weathertech would make these mats for some of the more common JDM imports. Fellas, maybe try to get them to make a set for your RB Odyssey build. I would buy a set 😊
I would def watch vids of your journey building the businesses. The way you described your path sounded like a rollercoaster and would make interesting content
Also a good idea to not drill a bunch of holes after it's painted. Would have been a nice touch if they added a bit of sound deadening material to the backside of that wheel well. Curious if you noticed any marked difference in road noise before and after these upgrades.
Having somewhat older Toyotas myself (v6 venza/v6 rav4) it's nice to see vehicles where you can just snap body panels off and on without worrying about breaking 90% of the body clips in the process.
Im interested to hear your thoughts on how loud those fiberglass wheel wells will be. Might be beneficial to add sound deadening to help with rock noise on the highway.
I had amp running boards on my raptor and I suggest you open the motor up on them, grease them well and use an rtv or silicone to seal them. Water and salt get in and destroy the insides. Grease all the moving parts often
Great video. I've never been a fan of the new bronco, but with all those mods, it looks killer. I also spy an EF hatchback in the back. I can't wait to see what you guys do to it!
I wish someone made a pet-safe rear door-skin protector that actually worked w/out adding velcro and stayed in place with the windows up and down. Having Labs and Mastiffs in the back of our vehicles make for a bit of a mess and lots of cleaning. :) BTW, Bronco is looking great!!
I really dislike the stock flares on these. They're just so flat and weird looking, like they took a piece of sheetmetal and just wrapped it around the wheel well.
I have the Turbosmart Supersonic BOV for my 2014 F150 Tremor and its R E D I C U L O U S how loud it is lol It sounds like a big rig air brake let off lol So good 👌🏻
Running 93 will usually lead to better mpg offsetting the cost on modern turbos plus will save ur rings and pistons idk we run 93 on my wife's equinox 2.0 turbo and it gets 7 mpg more on average then 87
2012 Silverado 5.3 flexfuel driving 1000 miles on 87 octane averaged 19mpg. Same 1000 mile journey on 93 octane averaged 21mpg. 2007 Saab 2.0T usually gets 500 miles on a tank of 91 octane and gets closer to 540 miles on 93 octane.
I went to the weathertech store ages ago, i remember it being like a little tiny speed shop in... i dunno like hamilton or that area. That whole area it's impossible to know what city you're in, they all blend together from Niagara to Whitby to Barrie.
Should have added a river-crossing 10ft tall snorkel and some 40" tires, and truck nutts to the the tow hitch. Maybe start wearing a tank top and call everyone "bruh" or "bro"
Always disliked the stiffer material weathertech uses and the fact the backs were smooth. They always moved around and folded away from the edges causing gaps. Looks like they fixed those issues which is great!
All of you snobby virgins criticizing them about using 87 octane fuel really need to get a life! You are the cringey ones here! Great video! Keep up the awesome content!
Looks like the ultimate mall cruiser build and a waste of a Bronco. They made the Bronco Sport for what you are looking for. BTW, those are nothing like off roady tires unless your off-road is your front yard.
Sorry, PT, but you just lost me at running 87oct on a turbocharged engine. Not only a huge no-no, but you negated whatever horsepower gains you added with the intake, exhaust, and intercooler.
Making that fender liner fiberglass is so stupid. Now you're going to have to take the hood off and possibly the fender just to take it off if you need to do something underneath. They should have just done some rubber style like the OEM.
Whoever at Ford designed that engine bay should be embarrassed. That rats nest of pipes/tubes/wires is ridiculous. Looks like a half-assed engine swap. I can't believe it comes like that from the factory.
Nice! The only thing that would concern me is going from quiet felt fender liners to rock crashing fiberglass sounds.
Undercoating them will help
True, I wasn't clear on the purpose of the fibreglass liners, were the other ones not compatible?
They installed wider fender liners. So reusing the stock liners would leave a gap.
I thought the same, I'd apply a waterproof sound deadening material to the back side to stop the resonance. Also use rubber washers anywhere it bolts to the metal chassis.
@@luffy858rubberized undercoating or bedliner should be good enough. It would prevent spider cracking from the tires throwing stones too.
Bronco + glove joke: well done guys, well done. Approved by all record breaking running backs
He is scared to live in LA bc the person that did it is still out there.

Rubberized undercoat usually traps moisture causing rust, typical Canadian weather sucks for cars.
@@WelshyAutomotive good thing the fenderliners and other panels i suggested to use it on are fiberglass...

@@WelshyAutomotive "omg the trapped moisture will destroy the fibreglass"
Nice to see Weathertech finally covering the entire dead pedal instead of only going up half way
Great project, really enjoy the varied car types on the channel.
Should be interesting to see how those powered side steps work after an Ontario winter.
That and I wouldn't trust kids not to get their fingers mangled in something that moves on its own like that.

11:45 The scoop insert would look great if it matches the other black parts.
was thinking the same
Wait till the next episode. 👍🏼
Damn seeing this makes me want a Bronco even more😢

Yo, Dave has got me rolling!!!! I wonder how many people got the reference? I sure did. Haha😂
Hopefully yall planning a build for the EF!
Thumbs up for EFs!
I mean use 91 bro….. but sounds great and the new hood and fenders look awesome!! Awesome family vehicle it seems!!
I would def watch vids of your journey building the businesses. The way you described your path sounded like a rollercoaster and would make interesting content
Bronco transformation magic!
That fender liner is a little worrying but it's probably well tested. It's a sweet kit

That EF in the background though!!!😍😍😍
Im just hoping you guys go for a 2650 Magnuson for dp's tundra 👀
Personally i like the color matched fender flares on the outer Banks
It’s the 2.7L. You can tell from the hot side pipes. There are into 1 into the intercooler. You’d hope by now that Ford has figured it out.

Cant wait for part 2 and the stance with those ADV fenders 😮 hopefully ya'll went wild with some 35-37s

Awesome work!! I lovee these kind of videos
That was a damn good episode!!!
Great video Love all the add ons! Can’t wait to see it complete and go for a drive in it.
if these things could tow 10k lbs i'd be sold. definitely digging the upgrade selections you've gone for, it's a dramatic improvement overall
Get a 5 Star tune! 87 & 91 octane engine tune.... and they also do a trans tune that makes the biggest drivability improvement!!
I’m not a big 4wd/suv guy but the one vehicle I would own is the bronco ! Unfortunately in the nanny state of Australia we don’t get them .
At least you guys get the Ford Everest, not like the pos Explorer we have in NA.
Slick looking rig !!!! Good job
Great video. I've never been a fan of the new bronco, but with all those mods, it looks killer. I also spy an EF hatchback in the back. I can't wait to see what you guys do to it!
The engine bay in these new fords looks like someone shoved 6 wiring harnesses in an old suitcase and shoved it closed.
Amazing. Content keep it you guys
It’s the OJ reference for me in the bronco😂😂😂😂😂
Love the OJ reference 😂
I hoped you remember to installed side badge back on with new front fenders.
As an owner of fusion sport with the 2.7l Ecoboost I'm going to tell you that you'll be better for running premium in yours. It's worth it.
Do these fender kits fit a wider axel and sasquash tire?
That hotside intake piping is cute, like 2 inch diameter 😁😁
Do any of these after market parts kill ORM warranty?

It's worse on the bronco raptors.
Fibreglass fender liners? It's gonna be sound so annoying when rocks hit them. Maybe do some bed liner coating on them?
Bring on the 4th gen Civic!
The glove 😂 plus EF civic cant wait !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Putting vanilla on gloss white?
Any plans to make use of the new hood scoop?
mall crawler or will it see offroad use? Don't forget to upgrade inner and outer tie rods.
There's no offroading where they live lol they are city guys.

No 87 tune?
US D.O.T. width regulations for vehicles vehicles 80” or wider. Amber to the Front, And Red to the Rear.
Given the cost of the body kit, paint work and suspension, wouldn't it have been cheaper to just buy a Sasquatch equipped Bronco to begin with?

As one of the people that designed those fancy Bronco branded bolts, please sell this thing if you value your safety.
I hope that's a 2.3 and not a 2.7, the 2.7 is already notorious for exploding and having catastrophic issues.
All ecoboost engines have a tendency to blow up though.
